Jim did a great job installing some custom pull-out drawers in this deep built-in cabinet of a house I just bought. The cabinet is much more functional now! Excellent workmanship, & reasonably priced. Also a very nice guy. I'm happy to recommend him if you need any cabinet work.
Jim is a pleasure to work with and a top notch cabinet builder. He built a custom vanity for me and it is beautiful! I will add pictures when the countertop gets installed.Click on pic to enlarge it.

Jim takes pride in his work and is a perfectionist, which is exactly what I wanted when it came to designing and making my custom bookshelves. Jim kept me in the loop throughout the entire process and they were made in a reasonable amount of time. Jim helped me design my vision and they turned out even better than I could have imagined!

Jim Scroggin with Cabinet Gems is an amazing cabinet maker. If you are looking for perfection and unmatched quality give Jim a call. We were fortunate to have him fix a kitchen cabinet and add custom doors to the cabinet that was installed way too high by a previous cabinet maker out of Beebe. We wish we had found Jim right after the tornado instead of who our contractor used but thankfully he came to the rescue!!! We think he is the BEST!!!

Jim is an unbelievable cabinet maker. He recently completed a 6 x 6 island with a butcher block top. I highly recommend Jim Scroggins Cabinet Gems.

Honest, Professional, Patient and an Expert in what he does. Jim is very meticulous about every inch of your cabinets. And he makes sure it looks wonderful and meets your expectations. Cabinet Gems is the best carpenter that we have ever used! Mr. Jim built a very large custom bookcase and custom drawers to go in the master closet, and helped us retrofit our current cabinets during our kitchen remodel. He is a perfectionist, and the finished product was outstanding. We also used his painter, John, for a couple of the projects. They were both helpful, professional, and highly skilled. They went above and beyond to make sure that we were extremely satisfied with the finished project. We highly recommend Cabinet Gems Custom Cabinets!

Mr. Jim converted my deep bathroom drawers (you know the kind of drawer you just keep putting more stuff into because it will hold more... until it’s so full you have no idea what’s in there!) into a drawer within a drawer, giving me two fully functional, more usable drawers! He worked quickly, delivered when he said he would and was affordable! Highly recommend his services!

"Cabinet Jim" built a full set of custom cabinets for my 40-year-old kitchen. He listened to what I wanted and made suggestions I had never considered. His meticulous measurements and attention to the tiniest detail mean that everything fits perfectly and functions as intended. Could not be happier. Jim really is a gem.

Jim created cabinet doors for our bathroom vanity. We Are so appreciative with his craftsmanship, attention to detail, and meticulous work, we will definitely use him again for any cabinet need!!!

Our Kitchen Island, cabinet doors and master bath doors were made with MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) which swells once it gets wet. We asked Jim Scoggins of Cabinet Gems if he could replace the lower doors and island with real wood to match the raised pane doors on the upper cabinets. Jim brought sample raised panel doors he had made to our home. His craftsmanship was excellent and we asked him to do the job. Jim is an artist with wood. We could not be more pleased with his work. A true professional and gentleman. His price was reasonable and in line with cabinet work we previously had done for a condo in another city. You cannot go wrong with Cabinet Gems and Jim Scoggin. P.S : Never buy anything made of MDF !!!

Jim Scroggins' is meticulous and detailed in his work. We had a challenging kitchen remodel of a 1925 house that he handled very well. He was always professional in his conduct, communicated often and did exactly what he said he would. The results look great.

Mr. Scroggins did an amazing job with our custom built-in entertainment center, and an additional wall of built-in bookshelves. We were not exactly sure what we wanted when we started, but Mr. Scroggins walked us through many different options until we found the perfect option within our budget. He was very professional and worked with our busy schedules, including weekends.He is a truly skilled craftsman, and I would recommend him to anybody needing any type of cabinet work.

Cabinet Gems did such a great job on my new kitchen that I wish I had another one for them to remodel. This was a total teardown, and I had very high expectations. Cabinet Gems didn't disappoint me. They worked with the paint company through three generations of stain to get the exact right product for my choice of wood. They provided detailed professional drawings prior to starting the job, and I got updated drawings each time a change was agreed upon. They made helpful design suggestions, installing a pantry, a pull out trash/recycle receptacle, and a fabulous hidden spice rack (in what would have been four inches of wasted space). The owner is not only a superb craftsman--I have never seen such clean lines and symmetry before--who made sure everything he produced was perfect, he came back several times to work with plumbers, electricians, and countertop people and tie up any loose ends so the final job would be flawless. The company's expertise and artisan quality would please a perfectionist. The company can remodel or build cabinets in kitchens, libraries, bathrooms, or entertainment rooms, as well as in businesses. The cost is quite reasonable--you'll pay about the same as for prefab cabinets and get gorgeous real wood custom cabinets. The people at Cabinet Gems are easy to work with--courteous, helpful, and they ask all the right questions in advance to be sure you get what you want. They deliver what they promise and more, and in a timely manner. I highly recommend Cabinet Gems.

We had a complete set of kitchen cabinets built by Jim Scroggin of Cabinet Gems. The cabinets are beautiful and extremely well-built. We could not be happier with our cabinets. Jim is a true craftsmen that takes a tremendous amount of pride in his work. I am very particular and was very pleased with Jim s attention to detail. This does not happen very often for me. We have already received many compliments on our cabinets. Cabinets from Cabinet Gems are truly custom cabinets as Jim can build anything you want or need. The price charged for our cabinets was very fair and competitive. If you need to have any type of cabinet, bookshelf, etc. made, I highly recommend giving Cabinet Gems a call. I know Jim can and is willing to take care of any job big or small.
