I've had a very frustrating and disappointing experience with Affordable Granite & More.

We love the stone we picked out and were pleased with service up until install in 2021. Our install was mis-scheduled and thus late, and then when they came to install the measurement of the stone wasn't perfect. We have a 1.8" overhang on one side of our island, and just 1" on the other side. While this isn't noticeable by the naked eye, it was frustrating given the size of our investment. When they came to install it they alerted us to this, but our options were to 1) proceed with the install with the granite in our home that we'd waited for, or 2) wait many more weeks for the stone to be remeasured, reordered, and re-cut, meaning we would have gone another 2 months without a kitchen. This part I can accept because (while disappointing), we approved it.

Less than 2 years after the install of our cabinets, our stone split near where our range drops in. There was no incident that led to this damage - it just happened. Additionally, the seam split between two of our pieces of stone. I reached out via email and didn't get a response and had to follow back up. The reply I got from the store was "I don't know why it would crack." Well, neither do I - hence asking for a warranty. See emails attached for how long it took to get a response. From their reply in September, I still had two follow up two more times to get a reply.

When the crew finally showed up in December to fix the seam, I was told they were ONLY here to fix the seam. Imagine my frustration - after calling, emailing and texting for 4 months, they came to fix the easy small issue - not the one I really wanted corrected. I explained to the gentleman that I really wanted it fixed. He said he'd have to "talk to his boss." They called and spoke to this person while here. They did not fix the crack and said I would have to follow up with them.

I called and followed up. The last communication I received was a voicemail on December 19th telling me the schedule was busy and they would get to me in the new year.

Now, I have invested over $8,600 in quartz for my kitchen and have a massive crack on my center island that formed less than 2 years after install. I have emailed, called, and texted and can't seem to get a reply. While I was happy with the appearance of my quartz, I'm incredibly disappointed in the quality (it just hasn't held up) and lack of service I've received.

Update as of 6/14/24:
They have given me a quote WITH NO DISCOUNT to put in a new stone that looks SIMILAR (not the same), or told me to cover the crack with a spoon rest.
I would not recommend anyone use this company. Incredibly frustrated by the poor service and the poor outcome.
