OBD builds docks and lifts to last, they take pride in their work and it shows! The owners Jaime and Dave are fantastic.
Looking for the best, look no further.
We lost our dock during a tornado May 26, just at the start of the summer. It was upsetting to say the least. Ozark Boat Docks built us a new beautiful dock and I think it was the 1st rebuild done on the lake from the tornado. Dave has been friendly and knowledgeable and has made the process easy. We are very pleased with our new dock from OBD!!Thank you guys so much. Almost forgot the lift! It's great too :)

My personal experience has been a nightmare. The are very friendly to speak on the phone but have taken absolutely no action to installation issues with their installation partner. The product failure that caused direct damage to my Monterey Boat from the faulty installation can be seen in picture.
1) If you are close to kentucky the installer (Matts docks) is NOT a trained installer by the company
2) The failure of a trained installer led to "bunk roll" on the lift. See picture for damage.
3) Dave (owner of Ozark) stated he would assist in correcting the lift be personally coming out to inspect.
4) Instead sent Matts docks back to my property and caused further damage. (as documented I specifically asked for Ozark to not send Matts dock repair back for adjustment).
This personal warning/personal experience is the Ozark lift has extremely sharp edges on the bunks. If they are not secured and setup correctly they tend to roll and has potential to cause damage you see in the pictures.
Lastly, Ozark has not stood up for the product as they have not offered to further review & they stopped responding. At this point they have left me to file insurance claims, police report and fighting with an installer that is NOT trained by them (trained by a 3rd party).
Another - note they say on the site the are certified by Core of engineering. Until May of this year the did not have their own engineering specifications for their own product. They do not have a safety guide. They do not have an operations manual. Recommendation is to be careful and do your research. In my opinion the boat lift is dangerous for my boat and family and I will not use it further as it has not turned out to be the quality and customer service expected for company in business for 30 yrs. It is my fault for not looking through the reviews closely.

I have worked with Dave and Jamie for the past 8 months on a new large dock build. They were great in guiding me through the CORP process. Not allowed to start the government process until Oct, oh wait, then it's hunting season ? once the permit approval letters were complete Dave was on point. We sat together several times to ensure the build went the way of my vision. We had a deadline and it was met as close as it could considering the horrendous weather we have had. All an all I was very pleased with Ozarks Boat Dock builders, they were kind, the crews were professional, and I love the dock. Our dream came true thanks to Dave and Jamie. BTW if you have never watched a large dock build, this was amazing. Orchestrating every delivery launch in the perfect order. On a side note, I would like to express my opinion on some of the reviews I read. This was not the company I dealt with. I will say Dave's phone constantly rings and if he answered every call every minute he would get nothing done. I watched Ozarks work for three straight days and there was no down time. I know how hard small businesses work to stay alive and the demand of our area with its explosion of new people makes it difficult to please every aspects. This is a great company.

Jamie and David are great folks they did an awesome job on my lift and got it in before my boat arrived. And you can't beat the installers they were great and did a excellent job.

If you are the type of person who likes chasing someone down week to week these are the people you want to deal with for your dock. You will never get a phone call returned. Always seems to bee something else more important to them. Yes I know the Army Corp of Engineers is hard to work but they aren't the ones promising completion dates then ignoring them. The corp aren't the ones who won't return phone calls. Don't worry they were paid on time and in full. Right about the time they cashed the final check is when their interest stopped even though they hadn't completed all the work. My bad for paying. Low bid isn't often the best choice go elsewhere.

Beware, very hard to get service scheduled service. Arranged dates for repairs on our lift and they failed to fulfill anyone of them. After calling several times and asking what was the problem, I was told that they could throw my service request in the trash if I wanted. I canceled my service and found someone else to do the repairs.
