I'm pretty disappointed with this place. They have a historically good reputation in central Arkansas, and I guess they are fairly good with some lock picking needs. In the past I have had them re-key a tailgate, pick open a FireKing file cabinet, and when I worked at a wrecker service they often helped our customers with lost car keys. However, I've recently found that they really lack any security expertise. I've had several friends loose their belongings from storage units, and needing one recently I went in there to buy a higher security discus padlock. Even though I asked for the best one they had, the rep sold me a marginally secure masterlock 40T, so I used that while I waited for an Abus to arrive from Amazon. Imagine my surprise when I went in to Bill's for something else about a week later and found out they stock the very same lock! Despite that, when I bought my new house I called them to get my cylinders rekeyed. I specifically told the guy on the phone I wanted the locksmith to bring spools or other security pins for my locks, but when he showed up he didn't have any. He proceeded to inform me that NOBODY carries those and that they are just for hobbyists, nobody uses them. I asked "you mean to tell me that security pins that are often put in locks that you can buy off the shelf at home depot and Walmart are just for hobbyists?" and he was like, "uh huh, well, nobody carries them." I almost sent him packing right then but needed to at least have my locks rekeyed, and it wasn't too expensive and I didn't know who to call so I just let him proceed. I then watched as he used an impact to remove my locks, dropping one and damaging my floor. When he was done, he had stripped out my screw heads with the impact, the locks and knobs were all misaligned with some having air gaps all the way through the doors, and he handed me keys that hadn't been brushed. Oh, yeah, and he told me he's been doing this [wrong] for 15 years. Just to make sure I wasn't wrong, I did a quick Amazon search for a lock key pin kit, and the first one that popped up comes with spools. I'm done with them.

These folks were awesome!! My truck fab quit working and my secondary one didn't work either. A Ford Dealer couldn't figure it out and wanted me to spend hundreds on a new one. Bill's was able to reprogram one of mine quickly and also fixed my keypad entry. Multiple people were even helping me at one time. These folks deserve 10 stars.

The place the absolutely HUGE with every safe, lock, and key you can possibly imagine. Every person I spoke with was incredibly polite and helpful. They explained how the safe I got worked. They even helped load it up for me. To top it off, they made sure I knew if I needed anything including help in the future to just give them a call. It was a great experience.

I called to see if I can get a replacement key for a 2001 small SUV. Priced over 150.00 for a non-program cut key. Blessed to call the actual dealership where I purchased the vehicle in 2013. The key was only 10.50 to cut. My vehicle is antique. Does not require programming. It's not a push button or electric vehicle. In this case replacement keys should always be under 20.00 FYI. Stop trying to get over!
