Lonnie did a wonderful job finding any potential issues that are of concern to a first-time homebuyer. He was candid and professional on what he viewed as problems even if they were very minor. He provided comprehensive guidance on critical maintenance checks and preventative measures to be undertaken within the first six months to a year of residency. Furthermore, his instructions on the operation and maintenance of a fireplace were particularly instructive, given that I had never used one before. From my first contact with Lonnie at Above All Else Home Inspections about inspecting our new home, I had a sense that he was very professional and committed to his craft. He did not prove me wrong! He went to the property before the actual inspection to get a feel of what was going on and to preview the property (kind of like doing his homework before the test). Being an out of state buyer, he stayed in constant contact, provided us with valuable information, and answered questions we had before the inspection. He was very detailed and what he called a bit "nit-picky" with his inspection, but that is what I wanted from my home inspector. Lonnie informed us about different equipment and how to maintain it for a longer life span. When going over the inspection he made us feel at ease by using verbiage that we could understand, and letting us know the level of importance and why. Even after the inspection report he is still available for questions. I would highly recommend Lonnie at Above All Else Home Inspections to anyone that needs a home inspector that cares about his clients and their investment.

He even went through the trouble of video calling me to go through the property as if I were there in person and went into great detail about what he was able to find and his suggestion on next moves as well as his take on the current state of the property. Lonnie was also very good with helping me, a first time home buyer, understand what he checks, why, and how it should or should not work.
