I would leave zero stars if I could! This place is a rip off and are not professional at all. We received bent lumber and we were told they would pick up and credit us back the money for them and then ignored us for a whole month then told us we weren’t being credited anything back because we had a 5 day window to report the lumber but we were never told that and not anywhere on the receipt did it say that. Even after showing all the proof of messages and pictures of one of their workers telling us that we would be credited back their yard manager said issue resolved you are not being credited back anything and they even took the lumber back. I am very disappointed in the way this issue was resolved!
R and K delivered on time and on budget. Three sliding Anderson's and two picture windows. Way less outside noise.

Christmas 2023
Ordered last week fancier type of crown and baseboard replacements for my house - doing remodel work.
Price was a bit high, which I kinda expected, given the fancy/pretty type of crown. Baseboard price was considerably less. Not as dressy.
Sales guy was pretty friendly, probably due to pre-Christmas spirit, anticipating Santa's goodness.
I picked the pieces up 1 week later; 16' long pieces. I needed them cut in half to fit in my SUV. Sales guy said loaders don't usually cut pieces shorter, customers had to do their own. Sales guy talked briefly with the loader about cutting them in half.
Guy in loading area used a hand saw to cut pieces in half.
Loading guy was really good-natured about doing the task, which I appreciated. I wasn't sure what to expect. He had an old hand saw with good teeth, plus muscle, to do the job fast.
Since I didn't have a saw, it was wonderful that the loader did it, plus he was just sweet about doing the task.
It's good to have an alternate place to go besides the big box stores. People are able to find weird stuff [like my crown], and employees are agreeable about helping find it and get it here.
The unexpected helpful thing the loading guy did made my moment.
I'll go back to R&K Building Supplies.

My wife and I are in the middle of remodeling the condo for sale. We had R&K out to give us a quote for a new Kitchen window and Sliding door for the master bedroom. We are totally satisfied with the work and the window and door that was installed.

The same man came to my house for the window quote. It had been a year so I knew the windows would have gone up. I told him I would do the drywall but I wanted his company to do the stucco around the windows and doggie door. When the installers came, they said the bed didn’t include the doggie door. They wanted to charge me another hundred dollars just for a doggie door. I said no. After they install the windows, they went out to their truck and took a nap for an hour, and use my electricity for their tools. Then came back in the house to use my bathroom.
