We needed a kitchen remodel but were new (snowbirds) in the area. After researching a number of options, we contacted Jake at Desert Valley Concepts. Right from the start we felt very comfortable with our choice. We appreciated the communication and attention to detail during the measuring/estimating/planning process. They made helpful suggestions and really worked with us to make sure that we got exactly what we wanted in our kitchen. There was never any pressure or hard sells, and they were sensitive to our budget.
The plan was that my husband would be present during the remodeling process while I remained in Ohio . Unfortunately, right after the demolition phase my mother took a very rapid decline, and it became apparent that she had very little time left. My husband flew back to Ohio to be with me, and we just hoped that the previous reviews were correct—that Jake and his crew could be trusted to finish the kitchen to our high standards even when neither of us were there to oversee the work. I mention all of that to point out that we were in a very vulnerable position, and I can't help but think that many would have taken advantage of the situation. When we were finally able to fly back to Arizona and see the completed kitchen in person, we could not have been happier. There was not one detail that was done less than perfectly. We couldn't be more satisfied with the result.
We love the aesthetics of the new kitchen, but even beyond that, because of knowledge and skillful planning, Desert Valley Concepts was able to take a small kitchen area (we didn't change the footprint) and make it SO much more practical and user friendly. Previously, I had very limited cabinet or counter space. Now, I literally have empty shelves because I have so much more storage! Some examples of ways that DVC made the kitchen so much more useful: a slide out pantry to utilize a narrow space next to the refrigerator, a two-tiered lazy susan to make a corner cabinet much more practical, drawer space on one side of the island and a cabinet on the other, etc. These are just a few of the examples—several of them I wouldn't have even thought of without Jake's help.
Needless to say, now that we are ready to remodel our bathrooms there was never any question that Desert Valley Concepts would be the ones that we would hire! If you are planning a remodel we recommend giving Jake a call!
We used Desert Valley for our master shower remodel this year. We had used them several years ago for our kitchen remodel. We are so happy with the way our shower turned out. The plumber and the tile crew were very professional. Their many years of experience helped us update our plan on the fly, for a better outcome.

Desert Valley Concepts is an excellent renovation company. Their work is exceptional. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to remodel their home. My first experience with Desert Valley Concepts was to remodel part of the Master Bathroom in my parents' home. I was so thrilled with the results that when I inherited my parents' home, I knew I would have them do the remodel. Their showroom is filled with every option you could think of. Everyone from the owner to the construction crew is thorough. If there were questions concerning any issue, I was asked for an answer. If I owned another home that needed changes, Desert Valley Concepts is the first and only company I'd go to!

We could not have chosen a better contractor to remodel our home. After 27 years of being in the same place it became apparent that it needed an update.
Jake took what we envisioned and brought it to fruition. He remodeled both our bathrooms and our entire kitchen.
His crews are amazing. Professional, friendly and go above and beyond to help. Great to have a crew show up when they say and do what they say. I do not hesitate to use Jake and Desert Valley Concepts for any and all future work. Give them a call if you need a remodel.

Desert Valley concepts has a wide variety of material to choose from when making a selection for your home. The whole team was a pleasure to work with. They drew up the plans from our ideas and gave us possible variations we could think about.

Desert Valley Concepts is the best! My husband and I had a very limited time to decide on tile, fixtures, cabinets, etc to remodel both bathrooms, the kitchen and lay floor tile throughout the house. We went back north for Christmas. When we returned in March we had a new house! Jake checked with us during the remodel and sent us pictures and updates. We couldn’t be more pleased with the results! Seven years later we have a different house. Desert Valley Concepts remodeled our kitchen and did a fabulous job!! Thank you Jake!!

Where do I start with this company. First of all, they are a family owned and ran business... everyone who works there is truly invested in the success of this business and the care for their clients. I have had them do many Commercial Property projects as I am a Property Manager. They are very, very detailed oriented and get the job right every single time. Their work ethic is impeccable, their pricing is right and they go the extra mile when they can for their customers. I wouldn't ever use anyone else.

We updated our master bath. The garden tub was removed and the window above it was sealed off and stuccoed on the outside of the house. The original 3 x 3 shower was removed and the space was added to our master closet with new drywall on the bathroom side. The tile work was perfect. A bench was built out of cinder block and then tiled. The flooring is the pebble look which is the least slippery. Oversized sliding glass doors, a niche for bath supplied and handicap bars make it perfect. Wonderful work.

I highly recommend DVC! Our home was built in 1985 and the rooms are closed off. We wanted to go with an open floor concept. Jake came up with a great design for us. He listened to what we wanted, made suggestions and came up with the perfect design. Brian the project manager was professional and always had our best interest in the forefront. The project finished a week early. My experience with DVC was wonderful. We are more than pleased with the results.
