I had a driveway extension done 4/2024. I called around for bids. I was a little impatient in working through SAM's answering service but it was worth it. One contracter I called expressed interest but never got back with me, and another got back with me two weeks later, but SAM got with me same day and was out the next day to take measurements. I met with the owner personally who gave me a folder with the bid explaining the scope of work. He walked the job site with me and talked through the work. Bid was a touch higher than the other I got, but the other never even looked at the area so I'm not confident it would hold. I next did a walk through with the same foreman who started work promptly two days later when they said they would at 6:30 am. What was really nice was the extra things done, like lifting my gate, and installing rebar pins in the adjoining slab. They know their craft. I wholeheartedly endorse Sam The Concrete Man.
