I recently had a custom retractable screen installed at my house. Outstanding service and the price was very affordable. I would definitely recommend this company.

I finally decide to review a company online. Arizona Retractable amazed me not once, but twice over the last 15 years. They put in a double french door in our master 15 years ago. Early this year we had them come to a service, as the door was having some issues. The office was great and they came 2 days later. While the service guy was going over the door he in formed us they had a new model that had a latch. We decided to get the update and it was done in a week. Best decision ever! These guys are the best and the upgrade was well worth the 300.00 price.

Terrorized in our Own Home! We had an awful, and rather frightening experience with the Scottsdale company president! Our problem began with the inferior and in our opinion, dangerous installation he provided. Mr. Hoffman came out to do a quote for two screen doors. It took an entire hour to measure and he continually assured me that although his product was a higher price I would be 100% satisfied. Guaranteed. He did seem like a bit of a snake oil salesman, but we are very positive about the quality of Phantom Screens. After 45 minutes of his ’sales talk’ I took a call for 8 minutes. He finished up told me he was providing me with the ‘best’ and ‘most attractive’ options and like a fool I plunked down half — $700. His company came back with custom-ordered doors. The front looks fine, but the back screen looks just terrible. It was mounted on the outside rather than in the jam and there was a sharp one inch gap on the steel runner, perfect for a child to lose his or her toe. I kept a $50 hold back (we paid the rest - $1,400) and Mr. Hoffman returned. He was very hostile. He told me the upgrade to inside the jam would have been $60, but he had not mentioned or quoted it because he said I was too busy. In truth, I believe he simply overlooked it. He refused to even fix the dangerous gap on the outside. He and his employee, a large, muscle-bound young man marched inside my home and he began insulting me asking for the fifty dollars. Being confronted by a man much bigger than me who has another larger man by his side in my own home was very scary. Thankfully my husband saw this and came to the rescue. He marched them out. They moved to our front gate and still refused to leave until they got paid. We were so upset with these bully tactics we seriously considered calling the police. The whole thing was horrendous. We are so disappointed someone would treat us this way in our own home It is our sanctuary.
