Shasta was our original pool builder in 2006. We have always Loved the Arizona Flagstone deck, and of course the beautiful pool. We have received so many compliments. Most people thought it was real flagstone. We started to notice the 18-year-old deck needed repairs.
We contracted with Shasta to replace and upgrade the deco-drains and redo the Arizona Flagstone deck. The price was very reasonable. Our Project Coordinator, Nina was wonderful. She kept us informed throughout the entire process.
Unfortunately, the workmanship of the crew assigned to the remodel was not acceptable. It didn’t look like anything like the original deck. We expressed our concerns to Gary, our Shasta Superintendent and Nina. They were very apologetic and responsive. We received a call from the Javier, the Director. He assured us the entire deck would be redone.
The crew Javier sent to redo the Arizona Flagstone was amazing. Miguel, the foreman, was professional and courteous. I can’t say enough, other than thank you. Miguel took his time and focused on quality and details. When they were all done, it was exactly what we wanted.
Throughout the entire process, Nina, Gary and Miguel were a pleasure to work with. We also received another call from Javier. He’s obviously in that position for a reason.
What started out as a negative experience was completely made very positive through communication and team work. We never felt like we made a mistake in our decision to contract with Shasta, and they lived up to their reputation. That’s rare today.

I wish I had read the reviews on the weekly pool service Shasta offers. I thought since they actually had constructed the pool that the weekly pool service would also be great. I was wrong, they pre-charge for the month so Shasta has no urgency in showing up to complete the service. The Pool Care & Customer Care Division Manager, DS, is also of no help, merely full of excuses as to why the service wasn’t completed. Customer service is not her forte. I cannot say that this is a reflection on all departments, some departments are on top of their game, as far as the weekly pool service goes, it is a complete mess.

We reviewed multiple pool remodelers and eventually settled on Shasta. The price was competitive and from the original sale to work co-ordination to completion, everything was done as scheduled without slippage even during the hot month of July. I am so pleased with the result that I have also chosen Shasta to do our monthly maintenance. Hopefully that too will be outstanding. Will keep updating as time goes on

Overall, the project was completed on time and within budget, making the entire experience stress-free and rewarding.

Shasta did a great deal of work for the price, and overall has a team that's very pleasant and easy to deal with. They communicate well and offer great accountability if hiccups do occur. They're a trustworthy company, unlike some of the fly-by-night alternatives. I liked our foremen a lot, the office staff, and our sales representative, Herschel Holder, is a great guy. I felt they all cared about the quality of the work and customer experience.

LOVE our pool that Shasta resurfaced!! The entire 2 week process was AMAZING & I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them. Kudos to Brett (sales), Michelle (project coordinator) & James…and their guys who did the work. Great job & Thank You!!

Horrible customer service. Called today about a leak/crack in my pool pump no callback for over six hours. When they did call the first available appointment was three weeks away. My pool is only four years old and still under warranty. The customer service rep had zero empathy and was unwilling to do anything at all to help resolve the situation. Now I have to go three weeks and either let my pool turn green if I don’t run the pump or have an extravagant water bill if I do run it. And, this was after they were just out a few months ago to do maintenance on my pump, the tech was there for 15 minutes, replaced the rubber gasket on my basket top, almost broke one of the nozzles by turning it too far, did nothing else and charged me $75. So unhappy we decided to go with Shasta. The largest pool company in Phoenix and I can’t get a service call on my 4 year old pool for 3 weeks. Unacceptable.

Cyndi with Shasta was a wonderful contact to have. When we had any questions she was the best at responding or getting us to the right contact. Thank to all the workers at Shasta for making our yard our dream oasis.
