Given their long-standing presence in the industry, I had high expectations for Ky-Ko. They pride themselves on quality, but my recent experience doesn't align with that claim. After their work on my roof, it looks worse than before they started. The bottom row of tiles is uneven, some protruding by at least half an inch. Many tiles aren't properly aligned, causing one side to sit lower than the other. There's now a noticeable raised ridge at the front of the house, exposing raw wood. Additionally, tiles in the ridges aren't straight and have inconsistent spacing. On the backside, the paper meant to be concealed is visible between the tiles. The vent sheet metal appears poorly installed. The adhesive is pulling away like melted cheese. There's at least one cracked tile risking water seepage. Ky-Ko had multiple opportunities to demonstrate their commitment to quality. Firstly, their workers didn't strip the entire roof as expected, leaving sections untouched, working in sections, and leaving behind cigarette butts, even putting one out on the new hardware. One worker even accidentally damaged the A/C refrigerant line without acknowledging it. Secondly, when a representative inspected the work, they assured me they would address the issues. Lastly, a supervisor came to oversee the crew, but aside from fixing the A/C, it seems little else was done to rectify the problems. Based on these experiences, it's clear that Ky-Ko falls short of its quality claims.

Great job. Kudos to estimator, power washer, coating guys, and final inspector. Checked with another company and KyKo was cheaper. Good recommendation from friends who used them. Showed up on time, did the work, cleaned up nicely. Only issue was that I have three antennas on roof, one of which had a grounding wire they had to disconnect to do the job. They could not figure out how to reconnect that wire at the end. I have recommended they clearly mark such issues and take photos when they undertake future customer jobs. All in all happy. Course it hasn't rained much yet..... --jim

It took me six months to make the decision whether to fix a portion or to replace my entire roof and thanks to Kyler Hopper I went with KY-KO Roofing for replacing the entire roof. I've contacted a total of six Contractors in my search and I found Kyler to be the most honest and qualified, but still competitive. I recommend to everyone, especially in Sun City, needing replacement or repair. You'll be as happy as I am, I've been here 25 years.

I called and scheduled a visit for a roofing issue and spoke to Tracy. I verified the date and time before ending the call. The scheduled time came and went with no call, no show. I called back and was told the appointment was cancelled by me, which was not true. I don't believe this company values potential customers time, nor attention to detail. If I'm a POTENTIAL customer and this is the experience, then I don't want to find out what happens AFTER I've given them my business. KY-KO was the only company out of 4 scheduled, that behaved in this manner, all others were on time and attentive. You only get one chance at a first impression.
