Bait and switch. I called for a quote to rekey a lock before I came. I told them specifically what needed to be done including the brand and model of the lock, they quoted $15 so I left work early to bring it in. When I was there the price changed to $20. $5 is not a big deal but the bait and switch is not a good business practice. Stay away from this place! Don't waste your time supporting an unethical business...

If you want a duplicate car key at a reasonable price these people know their stuff. I get why they have 4.9 rating. Everyone from the receptionist to the technician were efficient and professional. They cut and programmed a spare hybrid flip key & fob. The new key works 100% Very pleased

Greatest locksmiths in the game!!! I have been calling locksmiths for days and California Locksmith Security Solutions came in clutch with excellent service and pricing. I was in urgent need of an ignition key, and I did not have any original on hand. I needed a key for a 1986 vehicle. After calling around locksmiths in IE, LA, and OC (about 8 different companies); and I finally came across CLSS. I immediately asked if they were able to because only one other locksmith did, however they were charging nearly double what CLSS charged me. They had the key on hand and the technician was able to come on the afternoon of the day after my inquiry. I'm sure pricing is subjective, but they quoted me $185 for a pair of new keys. The technician came, removed the trunk cylinder and fortunately it also worked for the ignition. Can't be too sure with older vehicles. If the door and ignition were different keys, it would have gone from $185 up to $265. Luckily, they made it happen and I am extremely happy with everything, If you're in need of any automotive locksmith services. California Locksmith Security Services is the way to go.

We have a 2003 Lexus ES300 which the factory key fob broke ages ago. After seeing the cost and complexity of reprogramming through a dealer, we put it off for several years. I pass this store everyday, signage saying they cut and program fobs for almost everything and thought I would drop in. They were able to cut a new key and reprogram the fob in less than 1 hour for under $200. Beyond stoked to have a key fob again! It's the simple things, like being able to open doors without inserting the key, and popping the trunk without having to open the driver's door and hit the trunk button. I know my lady is going to be thrilled. Thanks again!

3 dollars per key and 30 bucks to make a new key given just the cylinder. just walked in and got everything done within like 10-15 minutes so that was great. I feel like that's a pretty affordable price too because a lot of the other services are "mobile" services where a dude in a van just shows up to your house and charges you double at least. Pretty quick and easy and was a no frills kinda service.
