I was very pleased with every aspect of my experience having insulation installed in my attic by Blake and his 2 workers. They were professional and kind and made sure my home was protected by using drop clothes and cleaning up after the work was done. They answered all my questions and I felt assured I was making the right decision. They also used a very high quality insulation product. Since I had the work done mid-month my PG&E bill reflected that. I will have a better sense of saving on the next billing cycle. I also increased the thermostat by 1 degree and PG&E increased their costs. My estimate of gas savings (since this is winter) is approximately 15%. That's with the increase of the 1 degree. The overall "feel" to the area insulated is a more solid and less drafty feel. Plus, there is a significant difference in outside noise reduction. I live on a very busy street and I am very pleased with the dampening of the noise from the street. I recommend Straight Edge Roofing and Blake Dyke. I am very happy.

The job was completed as scheduled. Felt confident that the work was done properly and correctly. Crew was friendly and professional. The entire roof was inspected and small repairs made. Was especially pleased they were able to match perfectly the new shingles with the rest of roof. No mess or debris was left behind. Estimate was higher than expected but still lower than competitors. I live in Atwater so was glad to go with local business. Would recommend them to everyone, friends included.

The customer service is top-notch. I had my roof redone before I purchased my home. The company I went with was Straight Edge Roofing, and I was so happy I did. Fast forward 1 year, and I had a leak. Straight Edge sent a few roofers to check it out. They figured out the problem and showed me 2 random holes drilled into my roof. It turned out that a solar company I contracted with to do my solar drilled 2 random holes and only filled 1 in.. Straight Edge Roofing took the time out of their day to take care of the issue free of charge due to the rainy season. It is safe to say the company is a class act, and they have a watertight guarantee. It would have been a drawn-out process with the solar company if they hadn't, and I am very grateful.
