Robert did a great job of updating our small bathroom off of the laundry room. He's detail oriented, thorough, dependable & knowledgeable. We highly recommend & trust him. When the time comes four us to do more updating to our home, Robert will be the one we will reach out to.
Contacted Robert about a remodel of bathroom, Entryway and hall, needed due to a flood.
Robert helped guide us in material selection, and worked with us to navigate the insurance claim process. Each day, Robert and his team were on time, respectful of the property, and transparent about challenges as they arose. On several occasions he went above and beyond to make sure we received what he had contracted to do.

Robert is that rare contractor that does what he says he'll do and charges what he says he'll charge. We have a 60 year old house so there are always surprises when you start opening up walls, but Robert's calm demeanor and knack for solving problems kept the stress to a minimum. We're really happy with how the kitchen turned out and we'd happily work with him again.

We had our approx. 140 sf kitchen remodeled in the summer of 2022. This project included a full tear out down to the studs, and we brought in all new flooring, cabinets, counters, plumbing, appliances, trim and molding, paint, lighting/electrical, and even had to replace two exterior windows with shorter ones to accommodate new counters. We contacted Robert Calvo to give us a quote and I was pleasantly surprised that his quote was very reasonable.
Overall, he did fantastic work. He was on time in the mornings and he worked full days diligently. He completed the project in roughly the time that he originally estimated (there were some supplier delays that weren’t his fault). He even went out of his way to work around our schedule when he came back to the job a couple months later to install the last pieces that were significantly delayed, and he didn’t even think to charge us extra for it.
He provided constructive feedback throughout the design and construction process so we could make the most educated decisions about how to design the layout, what materials to use, and more. He welcomed our questions throughout the process and was eager to accommodate some of our pickier requests without asking for change orders. He was very communicative and always made sure we were happy with the way things were looking as it came along.
While he was working in our home, he was also very courteous and did everything I’d expect to make sure the dust and mess never migrated to other parts of the house. He made sure to cause as little interruption to our already interrupted lives as he could. Overall, we could not be happier with our experience and with how the kitchen turned out in the end. I would highly recommend Robert as a general contractor for any home remodel.

I had a great experience with Robert (and his helper, Mike). Robert installed new flooring throughout my house, new baseboards, painted the interior, installed new kitchen and bathroom cabinets, sinks and faucets. He also installed new kitchen appliances, back splash and all new interior doors. He was professional, always punctual, great attention to detail, takes pride in his work and made sure I was completely satisfied. He kept me informed each step of the way, was well organized and always left things clean and tidy at the end of each day. Robert is very easy to work with and he had a lot of good ideas and recommendations. I will definitely use him again and I'd highly recommend him.
