CVE did two asbestos abatement demolitions in our house and both times we've been very pleased. From the initial call, through estimates, scheduling, and then completing the work they've been reliable and thorough. Will definitely call them for the next demo project that we have.

This company is amazing. They did popcorn ceiling removal for us quickly, safely, and professionally. Mike Flores is awesome and made it happen with no effort on my part. Communication was great, Mike was on it with responses to the many questions I had. He is extremely knowledgeable and great at what he does. The team did an amazing job. I could not be happier with the result of such a complicated and potentially hazardous project in my house. I definitely vouch for this company, Central Valley Environmental. Full disclaimer: We worked with their Fresno office. They did kindly ask if we would be willing to reflect our experience with them on Google. And I am absolutely more than happy to do so. We worked with Brett here, and the rest of his team. The care, responsiveness and professionalism were far beyond our expectations.
During a plumbing phase of a bathroom remodel project, we were bummed to find out that we had to do a whole asbestos removal under our entire house to be able to continue the project. And we had to find a solution very quickly due to other urgent parts of the project being dependent on this one.
When we reached out to them on the phone, I could already tell I was speaking with an expert, and would really help us out. But I didn't really expect them even to show up on the very same day, in just one hour. He came over, inspected and found that we have asbestos wrapping our hot water pipes inside the walls, and all around underneath the house. They scheduled an immediate operation, literally in three days, and came back with a whole professional crew the next Monday. They sealed everything up, and worked VERY hard, cleaning literally everything, even in the tightest spots, also, at a very reasonable price! Even the price point was a big worry for us since we heard some crazy numbers flying around. Or they could overcharge us for a last minute project, and we wouldn't even know (which did happen on a different project in the past to us). We just had to do it. But they did not overcharge. They were reasonable, and we paid less than we thought we would in the end.
I wish I had more pictures. The ones I included are a very small portion of the work they did. You can see the walls with fiber insulation around the hot water pipes that are wrapped in asbestos, and the crawlspace opening for the toilet plumbing to be done, after our contractors tore the walls down for their part. And the last pic I included is what CVE did. They even removed all the fiber insulation inside the walls of the subject bathroom and cleaned everything for us. Also notice the pipe inside the crawlspace beneath the flood. That pipe goes all around an entire home and they cleaned it entirely in the crawlspace as well.
This was our main engagement with them. BUT ALSO, months after this project, we had to remove our furnace and redo the AC system in our house. Once the furnace was removed, our AC technicians found mold accumulation under the system inside the main duct opening due to a years of AC water leakage, so they had to stop the whole AC project until the mold removed. Once again, I called Central Valley Environmental on a Saturday, left a voice mail and also texted Brett explaining the situation. Turns out he happened to be on our neighborhood, and immediately came over to take a look, like in 30 minutes while the AC guys were still here, and solved our problem, even providing the education for the AC technicians on how to deal with it right there on the fly!
Long story short. CVT met all our expectations, and went above and beyond. I highly, and happily recommend them for anyone who needs their business.

The best company in California to go to for hazardous material removal.
We had a popcorn ceiling test positive for asbestos (purchased a test kit on Amazon).
We took our time finding a good company after hearing the horror stories of service master and other similar local/chain companies (which you've probably read those reviews and they sacred you here) CVE went above and beyond our expectations.
We felt stuck with our situation and they truly gave us a 5 star experience in terms of quality of work, professionalism, price and they were also super fast and attentive.
No one wants an unexpected expense, especially one that can affect your health! Even if your insurance company recommends another company go with CVE or you will end up having to pay for the same job twice!
