Peter and his team at Dodson were awesome. We had an old home built in 1984 with a kitchen that had survived three boys growing up and was way past due for an update. We learned of Peter Dodson from a friend who had her kitchen redone by Dodson builders. They came in from the beginning and were easy to work with, and had great design ideas. When there were issues with the budget in the planning stages peter and his team were able to come up with ideas that were able to give us what we wanted without having to sacrifice. Peter was very patient with us as clients who were new to a major remodel, and after a year and a half of planning the construction began. Lisa and luis were great to work with, and made the pain of a remodel bearable. The subcontractors were all professional, and did great work. When doubts would creep in Peter would be there to hold our hand and talk us through those fears that were unfounded, and make changes when it was appropriate. The work was completed on time, and when the inevitable little things would creep up after it was done Dodson always made it right. Having been through this process I can only imagine the nightmare it could have been with a contractor that wasn't completely committed to getting it done right
I have had a vey good first impression. Peter Dodson was very professional and efficient. After he installed the garbage disposal he cleaned up very well. He also answered many questions I had on future home improvements and potential costs. Peter was very knowledgeable, professional, and sincere. I would highly recommend Dodson Builders for your home needs. Thanks Peter!

I used Dodson Builders for upgrades in my condo including a kitchen remodel and new flooring throughout the condo. I was extremely pleased with all the work that was completed. Communication with Peter was excellent with every step and timelines were met. I would definitely recommend Dodson Builders to anyone who is looking for quality work in a remodel.

Dodson is different from the very beginning and that’s the best thing about them. I’ve never worked with a contractor with as much care, forethought, and integrity as Dodson. From the very first meeting with Peter I could tell that they were the ones for the job. They were the only contractor that’s standard was to do full floor plan and modeling renderings before moving forward. And coming from an engineering/construction background myself, that was exactly what my wife and I needed to put our minds at ease. David and Shelbi were so helpful in our design process and we’re flexible as our needs changed/fluctuated at times. Once construction started, having Michael, Luis, Angie and other team members in our home everyday was really enjoyable and our pets were always so excited to see them every time they came through the door. If you’re looking for the cheapest contractor, they may not be for you. BUT if you’re looking for a team to help you get the job done RIGHT and help/walk with you through what can be a very overwhelming adventure then these are your people and they’ll make you feel like family in the process. Dobson Builders Construction has my highest recommendation.

tl;dr – Dodson Builders was the best experience I’ve ever had with a contractor.
My wife and I decided to have the patio off our master bedroom enclosed as a nursery/playroom/office space we could easily access. We wanted it done right, and we weren’t about to attempt it ourselves, so we shopped around, talked to a few guys, and after meeting Peter, decided to hire Dodson Builders. We ended up waiting 2 years to do the work, changing the scope of the job rather dramatically, but the folks at Dodson got things in motion as soon as we were ready. By the end of things, they'd given the entire rear side of our house a fresh look, too.
Peter, the owner, is professional, engaging, and rightfully takes a great deal of pride in the quality of their work. Lisa, our project manager, was in constant contact with us throughout so that we were never more than a quick text or call away from having our questions answered. She is an absolute joy to work with. Mike is personable, adaptive, and skilled, maintaining an open dialogue throughout the work and a high level of cleanliness on the site. Luis was likewise open and friendly as we got things started. They choose and manage their subcontractors very well too, addressing problems if they came up and making sure everything turned out as promised.
Here’s the funny thing. Less than a year later, we're selling our house.
We're crazy, I know, but that's beside the point. This place sold incredibly fast, ending in a three-way bidding war that went above what we ever thought possible, and I have no doubt that Peter’s crew had a lot to do with that. They helped us turn an ordinary tract home into something unique and made the process as smooth as could be.
