Acme did a great job replacing my awning. They were one of the few companies that got right back to me with a quote. Many never responded and the one that did was double their price. Mr Han, the president came to the house himself to take measurements and brought two big books of canvas samples. He came back after the install to examine the work. He also explained things like flashing and seam work which I never would have thought to ask. Did I mention Acme was half the price what the other company quoted? So refreshing in this day and age. I highly recommend.
We had a great experience working with Acme Sunshades. They had a demonstration showing how our new roman shade would work and they had a large sample book with a bunch of different colors we could choose for the shade. We will definitely work with them again for any future sunshade installs we do.

We had Acme Sunshade install our new awning. They were very professional and did excellent work. They took less than 3 hours to install the awning. We had a neighbor come over and look at the awning and they are going to use Acme Sunshade for their new Awning.

Acme Awnings, the company's prior name, made and installed awnings for my home several times over the years. When the awnings needed to be replaced again, I learned that Acme Awnings is now Acme Sunshades. Acme Sunshades still had my records from the past. Mr. Han and the installation crew were professional and personable. I was surprised at the price, but had to remind myself that we're in a time when the cost of materials have gone up, everything has gone up. The wait time for the awnings to be made and was reasonable, about 3 weeks. The crew installed on an exceptionally windy day so they faced some challenges in managing the fabric and installation under those conditions. They were resourceful in figuring out how to make it work. The awnings are perfect. I highly recommend Acme Sunshades and I'm happy I decided to stick with them.

We were looking for awnings for our kitchen windows and called various suppliers in the bay area. The president of Acme Sunshades, Mr. Han, got back to us immediately and came to our house shortly thereafter. He worked with us to pick a design and came equipped with everything we needed to decide material and color. He brought big books of canvas samples that made it easy for my wife to make a decision. Mr. Han helped my wife visualize the final product. Acme told us it would take 6 weeks to have the product manufactured and on the dot we had the awnings installed. The install crew was fantastic. They even painted the spacers to match our wall color. We really felt confident about the quality of the install.
Finally the wife operated the awning for the first time and was just tickled pink with joy. If we were ever to install another awning I would just call Acme. We highly recommend this firm.

Repeat customer 30 years. Just had two awnings recovered. Really appreciated Chih’s assistance with fabric and color choice. He is so knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Installation was seamless and quicker than expected. Excellent customer service.
