I'm a former employee and can't say enough great things about Mr. Curtin and his fleet. If you want a great career or great service....Curtin Martime is the place to be or to get service provided.

By far the worst maritime company to work for I worked there for a year in a half and as soon as the slow season starts and all there boats are tied up it doesn't matter how good you are or if you put in 9 months of work last year to fill the gaps they let you go and tell you your work ethics are not up to there standards. I worked there as a chief Engineer I have 14 years experience in alaska and this place is a complete joke to work for they have more people in the office then any company I ever worked for they have a thing called people services on top of human resources lol yea let that sink in so once slow season starts they let go of people that actually worth something and keep the use less management that never assist you with anything. They go through people like toilet paper if your looking to work there stay clear!!!

This company goes through employee's and new hires as toilet paper. Literally no leadership qualities and mentorship as they promised. Just bullying and no regard for people with no experience to show the ropes.

Worst maritime company I’ve ever worked for, I’ve been working on the water since 99, I wouldn’t recommend this company to any Close Mariners that I know. Management and owner Treat the Employees like trash, I was Lectured for 5 minutes on the pier for leaving a line coil wrapper on there dock, I felt very belittled. Plus they make you download and use 5 apps just to work there, to anyone looking to work at a new place on the water, stay clear from this company.

Wasn't an interview, just a lecture of how much di**s they're gonna be. Don't even think they intend on keeping you which probably is why they have a high turnover rate. The person who emails isn't even the person who interviews you some thug does. Probably dodged a bullet by not leaving my job for this.
