I called Steve at Turn Electric at about 8:30 am. Left a message. He returned my call within about 10-15 minutes. He arrived here about 10:15 am. I thought I had a broken circuit breaker after a piece of power equipment suddenly stopped working. Steve pulled the circuit breaker out and showed me that the connection was intact and that the problem was in the line. We went to the outlet where the equipment was plugged in and he found a short in the outlet box. Once he fixed that everything worked. Steve had a very carefully mapped out plan to isolate the problem. He explained each step as he went along. After each step he tested that the circuit was intact. I really appreciate having someone who has lots of experience and can isolate and fix the problem in a logical order. Steve is very warm and friendly and when I need further electrical help, I won’t hesitate to use him again or recommend him to others

Consistently great! I had a Costco delivery this morning of a washer and dryer. Unfortunately, my 1960s home had an original 250 v that was outdated so the dryer could not be connected. I searched for an adapter but was told they do not make adapters for that specific pattern. That is when I decided to change out the outlet and called Turn Electric. I spoke with Steve told him what I needed and sent him photos of the old outlet and the new plug He told me he could do the job that day after he finished a job, he was currently working on. Throughout the day, he called me with updates. When he showed up, he remembered my house from seven years ago. He was the same personable and humorous character as I remembered. This time, he brought his son who was very friendly. They made a great team. Together, Steve and his son completed the job quickly. Pricing was reasonable for the speedy service, responsiveness, quality of work and reliability. I am very happy that I remembered to call Steve for this electrical job. If you are looking for an honest electrician, who will explain to you the process of the job he is completing, I highly recommend Steve.

Part of the electrical in my house went out including my refrigerator, all my kitchen appliances and internet. I looked on Yelp and found Turn Electric and all the great reviews are true. They answered the phone and were at my house in half an hour. He completely fixed my problem right then and there and gave me a great price. He also went out his way to show how to safely handle my electrical box. He even called a couple hours later to give me some additional information on electrical safety and check that I was happy with everything. Definitely 5 stars!!!! I would recommend to anyone looking for great service at a great price.

I highly recommend Steve for any home electrical repair! Our house had 3-4 rooms/areas that the lights were not turning on and 3 outlets with no power. Steve responded right away and came out to see what was wrong the very same day. Upon further inspection, he discovered that one of our circuit breakers needed to be replaced and that there was an electrical short circuit that he needed to find/discover. He came back 2 days later and with very thorough and meticulous investigation, he was able to locate and solve the problem/issue. It seemed like a daunting task but Steve was determined, very knowledgeable, and very skilled. He will also teach you a lesson or two, that’s for sure! Will definitely call Steve back if I run into any other home electrical repair!

I called Steve to come fix an issue at around 9 am. He was at my house in half an hour, and gone by eleven and everything worked perfectly. He quoted me a flat rate that would not go up if it took him the whole day or even longer. I told him that the price was fair even if it took him five minutes. When choosing an electrician I look for someone who knows what they are doing, is priced fairly, and does what they say. Steve is all of these things and more. I have found my electrician. Highly recommend trying him

Steve is incredibly responsive and did a great job. He came as soon as possible and was in constant communication about his ETA, arriving on time. He explained everything he was doing and worked with me to bundle the work we hired him for to a fair price. We hired him for two main jobs: 1 - To install a new outlet for a water heater pump in our water closet. He worked quickly and efficiently, using an existing outlet to add the new one and cleaned up his mess when he was done. 2 - He fixed a GFCI plug that powered our kitchen -- we thought we had an issue with our breaker, but he explained that the plug was merely broken and replaced that GFCI along with 2 others in our house. He did not try to do more work than was required (others might have tried to get me to pay for unnecessary work based on our fears) and is very honest. We and will likely ask him to do more work for us in future.
