Went to the Northridge Earthquake Exhibit. Really gives you a look at what those who had to manage the repairs had to deal with and accomplish to get all the roadways up and running. Amazing map of the vertical and horizontal movement throughout the los Angeles area. Great video of the removal of the destroyed freeway sections.
Parked in a pay lot down the street as I could not find anything here. Admission is free but it will not be up for long.
How do they have money for such a nice building but no money to fix potholes on the 605? A fricken high way?

Having many problems with harassment, retaliation, and intimidation. Have been reporting for over a year, and nothing has been done.. The EEO, as well as the Deputy Directors, are aware of this situation and have not done anything to resolve the issues. The worst of the worst...

Today I was driving up hwy 15 N to go to LA. As usual I merged into the 91 W to go the 7 miles to the 71 N then to the 60 W into LA.
Little did I know that the 91 W was basically closed because of a big rig fire in front of the 71 N exit. Had Caltrans posted a warning sign on the 15 BEFORE the merge into the 91 I would have continued straight to the 60 as would a lot of other drivers I imagine.
It wasn’t until 2 miles in (on the 91) that there was a sign posted that the 3 right lanes were blocked. No reason was given.
THIS WAS A BIG FAILURE ON THE PART OF CALTRANS AND THEIR COMMUNICATION TO THR PUBLIC!
It took 1 hour to travel 5 miles and when I got to the 71 merge it was closed (big rig fire) YET there was a lane that could have been used to merge onto the 71 had the CHP done a better job.
Do a better job next time!

If you truly care about climate change and sustainable economies, then please reduce car dependency and invest more into safer public infrastructure.
People deserve car free streets, protected bike lanes, and affordable convenient public transit through buses, light rail, subways, and high speed rail.
Future generations shouldn't have to depend on others to drive them everywhere, and they can greatly benefit from safer roads around their schools/neighborhoods.
Car ownership isn't always bad, but if it becomes the only mode of transportation, then cities will continue to suffer from inflation, high gas prices, and dependence on fossil fuels.

I love you visit Cali, I come to see the oceans and visit the shops, it was wonderful and the people are amazing!!
The one thing I can say is that it's filthy!! Every road and highway is just riddled with trash!! There are trash receptacles everywhere but the ground is littered with garbage it makes everywhere you go look like a questionable place to be. I went to malls and Hollywood and to beaches and everywhere it was like they have no one cleaning up anywhere. I absolutely love coming but it does make me want to look elsewhere for my next vacation. Even in areas that are usually cleaner we're just horrible . I'm sorry ?

The driver tomas contreras was very rude. He came 45 minutes late to pick us up and he did not even put the earer on to a dissable child wgo has multiple issues with heath. He was driving on 80 miles pwr hour in a zone of 65. I do not recomend this company. They are a big hazard to your security.
