NoHo Stairs remodeled our staircases a few months ago and did a wonderful job. He showed up on time every day and worked very hard with an eye for precision. Our staircase is now beautiful and very solid, I’m sure it will last well beyond my lifetime. I am very happy with the job and would recommend without hesitation. I only wish they were willing to stain/paint, we had to find someone else to do that part of the job.

Thomas is excellent in his craft. He remodeled our stairs completely to wood. He used solid oak wood for treads, rail, posts, fittings and molding. Iron balusters were installed on the rail. Thomas stained the stairs after we confirming the color. He was very patient with us. His pricing was the best compared to all other quotes. Saw the negative review here , the contracts I got from others also included payments in installments similar to Thomas's. I think Thomas gave us the best pricing for the best quality work and payment schedule was not an issue.

Thomas asked for 30% before starting the work and 30% once materials were delivered, which seemed very shady. I asked if we could do 30% once he starts on day one and he said no. Then he said: "if you want your job done it has to be my way of doing business". No negotiation, no talking through it. His way or the highway. Sounds like a red flag to me and like the entire job would be treated that way, if done at all.
