We worked with SMI for a pool demolition at our house, they were systematic and performed an initial assessment, post which they submitted the plan and pulled the permits. During the actual demolition process they ensured to follow all protocols and documented the process needed for inspections. They helped coordinate the inspections and were always available for any questions. Overall both the operations and back office staff were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend Marcus and his team.

I didn't wind up using SMI, but as I was having a hard time getting anyone to actually bid and start work, I asked them. They were the only firm who came over quickly and gave me a very fair bid for beginning two weeks later. I can't complain about the time, because when everyone is busy the guys who are in demand are usually the best. But just after they bid, another contractor who had delayed showed up and started. All I can say is that SMI was responsive and professional beyond what the others were. I'd call them if I had the same sort of work, which was concrete demo/removal.
