Great company! We had major damage from upstairs leaking toilet. After 7 months of cleanup and repairs the contractor quit and left us "high and dry"! His employees had spent 3 days trying to install new shower door. I called Maysam at Contra Costa Plate & Mirror late on a Friday afternoon. He and Bruce (owner) were great from that first phone call to finish ~ AND the installation took only 2 hours! My husband and I are thrilled!

Had a recent event where one of our bathrooms glass shower doors nearly got knocked out in an accident. In fact, it turns out they both could have fallen out on their own at any time. I was quite concerned as the shower is older and I thought there could be little chance of it being fixed. We called a local place which could come out faster, but their attitude on the phone had us concerned. Looked them up and sure enough that came up in their reviews. We then next called Contra Costa Plate & Mirror, big difference from the start. Bruce the owner quickly answered, extremely kind, polite, and he agreed to move up the appointment because we expressed concern about it staying untreated all weekend. At 10:30am to the minute Ben, his brother arrived. He quickly reviewed the situation and said he would do his best fix it. He estimated it would take about half an hour. Again, right to the minute he finished the repair job. Turns out the frame that holds the glass doors was never properly bolted in, he also took care of that. Ben explained how he did the repair as the bathroom is too small to be in there during his work. He was extremely personable and the total cost for the repair was incredibly fair, he could have charged more given the long drive out to where I live. I recently had to repair a pool pump and found many people don’t want to take jobs that require long drives out, so that extra level of customer service from Contra Costa Plate & Mirror is very appreciated. I cannot recommend them enough for any glass or mirror job. They will be getting any future business from me, hopefully not too soon from now, but at least I have a trusted company. Faulty glass or mirrors can be very dangerous, it’s key you have someone with a lot of experience and trust.

In remodeling our guest bathroom, we decided to change out the shower door (it's probably 40 years old -- came with the house when we bought it!). After looking at pics online, we pretty much knew what we wanted. We contacted 5 different vendors -- one said our design wouldn't work and Diablo Glass never even responded to my email inquiry; we ended up with 2 coming to the house to give us an estimate. Bruce and Contra Costa Plate & Mirror was by far the best! He responded promptly to every email and phone call. He arrived when he said he would, sent a written estimate when he said he would -- with 4 different designs included; kept me updated on when installation would happen and then installed when he said he would. The finished shower door design is exactly what we had initially wanted. Bruce wasn't the least expensive but I have no doubt that he was the best vendor we could have chosen. And the nicest guy to boot. If we ever have a need for glass products again, Bruce will definitely be the first person I call.

Bruce was extremely prompt for every appointment. He provided the lowest bid for a new frameless shower enclosure. The quality of the work was excellent and was done professionally. He worked with my schedule to make it easy on me. He patiently answered my questions and provided explanations for why he was or wasn't recommending things. The enclosure looks fantastic. This is the second time I have used CC Plate & Mirror. The first was for an odd sized beveled mirror in an antique armoire. This was again a quality job at a reasonable price. I highly recommend Contra Costa Plate & Mirror for all your glass and mirror needs!!!

I needed this done quickly and Bruce came out the same day I called to measure for me and provided a quote that evening. I did my due diligence and obtained 4 quotes in total and although Contra Costa Plate & Mirror was not the cheapest, they did match my lowest bid and earned my business. Materials were ready in the time frame promised and they installed right away. Our new frameless shower door looks beautiful! We will definitely reach out to Bruce again for any needs we might have in the future.
