Our refrigerator went out at the beginning of June and it took twelve days for them to come diagnose the problem. After diagnosing, it took 2 weeks for them to fix the problem. After the fix, the refrigerator still was not working so the tech came back out and “fixed” the refrigerator by recharging it. Now two and a half weeks later the fridge is going out again and not holding its temperature. When I called I was told it would be almost a week before they could come out and look at it. So now we will be without a refrigerator for who knows how long. Don’t book with them unless you want to have a constant back and forth to get a working appliance and long wait times.

Scott, the local technician serving the Grass Valley area was professional and did a great job. Couldn’t be happier! Also the company itself was able to get us on the schedule sooner than expected. Overall a great experience!!

James our technician from Lake Appliance was able to correctly diagnose our refrigerators defrosting problem down to a faulty capacitor. Something that took extra time and expertise that had not been done before. James was trustworthy and very professional. Thank you James for taking the time to find the real issue, ou saved us from having to manually defrost our refer every few months! I would definitely recommend James and Lake Appliance for your appliance repair.

My technician deserves five stars. Ian was always very nice and helpful. However, the company as a whole was frustrating due to making appointments and then having to reschedule at the very last minute. This was frustrating for me because I had other appointments that needed to be moved and canceled just to stay home and wait for a technician that never came.

Fast! Fast! Fast! Response to my alliance emergency. They arrived on 30 minutes. I’m not that’s representative because a service person happen to be in my neighborhood. Either way, the person who answered the phone was very nice. She immediately understood my situation and got a service to me in a very shorttimeframe. The service person was very professional and diagnosed the issue accurately. I paid $100 service fee that would be applied to whatever work they did. No actual work was done because the bill was more than I wanted to pay. The great part is that the service technician told me what I could do to keep the bill down and he was right. My appliance is working again and it was within my budget. Bravo!!

They get a negatives stars but I could not post without hitting one star . I would NOT recommend!! I recently had another leak in my freezer and a plumber that was highly recommended came out . What he found was very shocking to me . You see 2 years ago Lake Appliance came out to fix the same problem . They seem to have fix the problem with two paper clips . Pictures were taken before he took them out . And Lake Appliance charge me over $300 for this . They can look up my name on the account under last name “Denys” . No excuse and I should be reimbursed for the shoddy work they did even though it was 2 years ago . I’m still in shock .

The tech, Richard, was excellent. Diagnosed the problem in minutes. Patiently explained the process of securing the parts required, due to warranty issue that I brought on myself, I had to order the parts from a subsidiary of the manufacturer. Once parts were received, Richard returned on time, with calls to update me as to arrival time, to fix my appliance.
