I give this owner and his crew negative 100 minus for their horrible business tactics. Peninsula Hauling & Demolition was hired to demo my house in San Jose. They were instructed on numerous occasions (prior and during) to only demo interior and NOT to enter or touch anything in the garage or outside (backyard or side yard). These people did good job on interior demo which was to the studs however they looted our yards and removed our things (BBQ grill, furniture, tricycle etc). They were told to not enter or demo the 2 car garage were we stored one of our cars during this project. Unfortunately they stole everything from our garage including my mother's ashes that were to be spread this summer with our whole family. The garage was the only area with stored personal items. They did not follow directions and took the stored refrigerators, washer and dryer, thousands of dollars in tools and household collectibles. All our family memorabilia (photos and documents) have been removed from our property. These items were painstakingly organized in the two car garage. They took golf clubs, suitcases full of items that were stored in the garage during demolition. We lost everything!!!! because they did not follow directions that were very clear: do not remove anything from or even enter the garage. These instructions were passed on to the owner of the company on more than one occasion: when hired and during the demo by our contractor. The owner (Chris) of Peninsula Demolition was at our house during this demo. We are out thousands of dollars because we lost vintage furniture/paintings/lamps/dishes/silverware. Do not allow this business into your home because they will loot and steal everything! The office staff Alyssa was extremely rude when I contacted them after we received information about our garage been looted. They were giving me runaround and lies. They would not apologize or call me back when I left messages. I never received call back. I was initially told via my contractor that my items from the garage were removed by Peninsula Demolition for temporary storage, but week later told that someone accidentally emptied the truck with my items from garage (the only area we asked to not be entered) were dumped and were no longer retrievable. Where are my mother in law’s ashes that we were going to spread this summer with my family?! We were unable to travel with human ashes when flying back to our current residence on opposite Coast and never thought these idiots would empty whole two car garage of well organized collectibles!!! We have photos and videos of what was in the garage!!! And how it was stored! On a side note during the demolition the owner spoke to our contractor and asked if the car in the garage is for sale! And was told again that nothing is to be touched in garage including the car!!!! And not to even enter the garage! He was told multiple times yet here we are at huge financial loss and emotional damage. Total lock of remorse or respect for peoples belongings. My husband lost 100 years of family memorabilia which can not be retrieved bc they all are passed and he has no other living relatives. How do you even start to process that type of loss??! What do you think is a value on priceless item like your MOTHER's ASHES? She passed in October 2021! We have witnesses of what and where she was temporarily stored during preparation for remodel of this property that she gave to us. Lawyers are happy to help and I will not be surprised if this business will be out of business by next year! Even their insurance will dump them for the damages we will sue.

I help manage a roofing company and we hired Peninsula Hauling and Demo to tear off an old tile roof. They were very efficient and professional. They ripped everything off down to the plywood and they left the job site very tidy. I will definitely be calling them first for our roof tear-offs.

I'm so happy I found Peninsula H&D! My neighbor, a contractor, recommended them to me. My house needed so much work including totally redoing the interior down to the studs and foundation repair. Before that I had already met a few contractors to get an estimate (including my neighbor). I wasn't getting anywhere. One contractor could do the demo but nothing else. Another could do the foundation repair but nothing else. Another could do the whole project but not for 9 months! Luckily I did schedule an appointment with Peninsula. I met with Chris who came out on the weekend. He made the whole project seem simple. A total expert and a problem solver. After getting my house fixed up and seeing their work I can't shut up about how much I love them...especially Chris and Tracy. Seriously just call them first!
