During the most recent power outage in coastal Marin County, my Leete-installed whole house generator appeared to be working smoothly, but we were getting no electricity. Very shortly after receiving my alarums, Leete was out to Muir Beach (no easy feat) getting us connected. The problem was USER ERROR. Leete's roving techs and office staff worked together to promptly and patiently explain to this former English major how to turn on/off the generator/breaker. My wife and I cannot say enough about the terrific service and highly recommend them to anyone in search of electricity during NoCal's frequent power outages.

AND I spoke to 3 different technicians to troubleshoot and resolve my issue. Leete employs smart, engaging, professional rockstars that can communicate and solve everything generator related. They are the ONLY generator company to use.

Even with the demand for generators currently, they have been able to keep the equipment coming in as well as providing professional services for their ever growing list of new customers. Leete Generators

Please do not bring your generator to Leete to be repaired. I was receiving a fault light on my 6K Kohler standby and had to bring the generator in to be repaired. The people at Leete estimated $700 to repair it, but ended up stripping out the engine head trying to remove a spark plug, which added $300 more to the repair total. They took five weeks to return my generator, giving me unbelievable excuses every few days. After finally picking up my equipment and reinstalling it, after less than 2 hour of operation the engine completely broke down. At first Leete refused to look at the generator saying it was beyond the 30 day warranty they offer with their repairs. Finally, they agreed to look at it and told me it was a bad spark plug, but they were going to do a valve adjustment on it. Three weeks later, I have picked up my generator and spoken to the service tech about it. When I asked him what had been wrong with it, he told me that the original valve adjustment (that they had charged me for) had never been done, due to some confusion and one piston had been fused inside the cylinder, but he thought it would run fine now. I haven’t reinstalled it yet, but I don’t have a lot of confidence. No one at Leete ever apologized to me for their shoddy work or acknowledged their mistake in any way.
