The owner, Gary Dejong, took money from people including myself and then ran off hiding behind his lawyers claiming fraudulent chapter 11 then 7 bankruptcy. I am paying my attorney, even if it costs more than he owes, to make his life difficult. He deserves as much misery as you can give him. Please sue him and go after him. He intentionally took your hard earned money and knew what he was doing in the hopes you will give up so he can keep it. Don’t let him get away with it! I paid thousands of dollars for a large commercial door and paid in advance. This man took my money with a smile on his face and ran off.

As a long time resident I have worked with American Overhead Door for the past 20 years. They employees are always courteous and knowledgeable. Most recently, I had an urgent issue with my opener and was given sound advice on how to use the door until the service technician could respond. Thank you Ryan and Gary. I appreciate all you do. I will continue to recommend this company for all garage door needs.

Took awhile for my doors to come in but the technician that installed my doors and garage door openers did a wonderful job and answered all my questions he even programmed my 2 vehicles. I don't normally make a habit of doing reviews but the technician took the time to tie my kids shoe for him. Thank you American Overhead Door my home looks so good with my new doors and they're quiet too! I'm a happy customer!

Very happy with the service and product provided. Ryan was great in giving professional opinions about the different thickness and such of different doors we had selected. The slate color of the garage door is a very very close match to our front door slate from some other vendor, which is incredible! They fixed the gaps that we had at the top and bottom, new seal around it. The motor used to sway every time due to the improper installation of the previous owners, but this doesn't sway and is quiet. Stephen was great, installation went smoothly and he cleaned up nicely afterwards. Very highly recommended. Very happy with what we got. 5/5

American Overhead Door

Called American Overhead Door, after my garage door decided to come off the rails, and nearly collapse onto the car still stuck in the garage. They quickly scheduled an appointment a few days out. I was worried about the cost of the repair, after googling repair costs of similar jobs. David, their technician, came over at the scheduled time, and within an hour, had everything put back together and functioning. He then came back the following Saturday for a quick follow-up. I was very impressed with their quick response, professionalism, and the reasonableness of the cost. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing help with their garage door.
