Overall

Have had really positive experiences with this company in the past but this wasn't a great week.
Took time off work for a water heater service but the tech was a no-call no-show, so I rescheduled for a few days later (had to take an unpaid day this time).
After a very hefty bill, the water heater almost immediately started flooding. When I called, I was informed that nobody could come out and deal with it until the following day. So I'm stuck with a flooded unit in my basement and no hot water.
I have REALLY liked the quality of Brothers work and service before, and have recommended them to family and friends but this experience might have to be my last. Very stressful experience that has damaged my trust in the company.

EDIT: Aaron and Ashley were able to come out and correct the issues with the earlier service. They were communicative and professional. The techs were great, as always, but I'm disappointed in the way things were handled by the company itself and dispatch throughout the week.

Michael V. Was very professional, helpful, and knowledgeable. He did a thorough inspection on my A/C and furnace. Spent the time to break down and explain everything he looked at, the ranges of which each unit should perform and what my units were at, and how to extend the life of my units. I've had brothers come out to do work on the house for the last few years and he's been the best tech by far.

I've made use of multiple services from Brothers, and have had a great experience each time. Most recently, Michael did an excellent job taking care of several AC issues my system was having, getting it back up and running very quickly. Would definitely recommend Brothers for all your home needs

Scott with Brothers Plumbing and Heating was wonderful. He explained the procedure to replace my condenser line clearly and in layman‘s terms which I understood. He was kind, patient, and very experienced. I will use him and Scott’s plumbing again in the fall when I get everything turned on for the winner. I am very happy. . I’ve been in customer service myself for over 25 years. This is the way it is done. Thank you Angie.

How sad is it that this company allows their service people to park like this so close they can't even open the back of their van. This man's manager condones it. Imagine what the work done is like. This is their company policy. So much for common courtesy from a business.

First of all, appointment for work was scheduled for 4/29 with an arrival window of 10-12 AM. I used PTO to be home. At 10:36 I get a call that it needs to be rescheduled and the soonest window now is 5/1.

On 5/1, I met Spencer from Brothers. Spencer was generally nice, however my experience with his work was messy, chaotic, and stressful. The job was to replace 4 sink shut-off valves and 2 toilet shut-off valves. I purchased chrome replacements, and the job cost around $1,500. I also signed up for the membership program.

Communication seemed fine until Spencer was getting ready to leave. As he packed up, I checked all the valves and found one of the sink valves leaking, with a puddle forming around it. I pointed it out to him, and he tightened the valve so it no longer leaked.

Then I noticed the escutcheon plates he installed were plastic, not chrome. He claimed he thought it would look better and mentioned he ran out of the correct size in chrome, so he used the correct size in white plastic instead. I explained that we paid for chrome and that the invoice specified chrome. After some back and forth, he sighed and said he would try to find a solution. He offered other suggestions and expressed regret for not using chrome initially, but he wasn't sure how to proceed.

He cut off the plastic plates and then cut an extra chrome one, asking if it would be acceptable. I said no, it would not. He then suggested a chrome plate that could clamp around the pipe, which he said I could purchase at Home Depot and install myself. If I wanted to do any of the job myself, I wouldn't have paid $1,500. The next 30 minutes were spent with him trying to propose alternatives that didn't match what we agreed on.

After more back and forth, I called my husband. On the phone, Spencer agreed to get the chrome plate. But off the phone, he went back to suggesting the split plate and said he didn’t have the right part. He again mentioned me going to Home Depot to buy the split plate, but I told him I couldn't go. Then my husband arrived home, and Spencer agreed to get approval to get the correct plate. My husband talked to him from that point, and there was no further negotiation. My husband shouldn't have had to come home to get the job done correctly. It was so disappointing.

Now, my guest bathroom toilet valve has a chrome plate that is not the correct size and looks sloppy, with a huge blob of visible blue glue. There's also glue on the floor around it that needs to be cleaned, and scuffs on the wall that require touch-up paint. My master bathroom toilet valve has the split plate from Home Depot, which Spencer eventually went to pick up

Very stressful experience that has damaged my trust in the company.

This review is for Spencer at Brothers Plumbing. He did a fantastic job on my toilet install and correcting the drain PVC pipe due to a leak. Spencer is extremely knowledgeable about toilets and plumbing and he completed the job in a timely manner while keeping good communication with me. He has a great personality and we even had some laughs about my toilet decision.
I highly recommend Spencer and thanks to the Brothers team for sending him my way, after the initial appointment fell through.

Richard was on time ! Extremely knowledgeable and very nice !! He identified the problem quickly - fixed the problem even quicker! Very professional, he even cleaned up everything before he left ! I would highly recommend Brothers ! They are the only plumbing company I will ever call !

Ron came into to our 100 year-old home and fixed a broken floor heat boiler that is twenty years old. He also looked at our furnace and ensured it was functioning properly. He respected our budget and didn't try to push products on us that we did not want. He was incredibly, incredibly knowledgeable. He ended up working almost the entire day and did not rush through the project, valuing instead a job well done. We could not be happier. We highly, highly recommend Brother's, and specifically Ron. He's great with older models that newer HVAC men were not trained on! (Pics are before the job- just so people know age of equipment)
