I don't typically leave bad reviews, but home buying is stressful, and I wanted to give a word of caution to home buyers with tight turnarounds on their home inspections to not trust the online scheduler. On a Thursday, I scheduled an appointment online for the following Tuesday. Right away, I got an email that said "We've received your request for an inspection on xx/xx/xxxx at 4:30 pm. We will be reaching out to the selling agent to get access information for x. We will then send you an email with the Pre-Inspection Agreement, Invoice, and an inspection confirmation once everything has been finalized." Although it said request in the email, the wording afterwards made me believe I had the timeslot secured, they just needed information from the selling agent. Two days later, I got a message saying "We have an order for inspection for x, we can not do this at this time, that is too late. Please give us a call to reschedule." When I messaged back, they said their next availability wasn't for an additional week out, which is past the inspection objection timeline. We then had a stressful time calling around to see who had any availability and could get us the radon results back in time for the deadline - after losing two days in the turnaround, it was harder. So I wanted to give a review to caution others to not use the online scheduling system, particularly since they still are allowing 4:30pm time slots on their online scheduling system. I obviously cannot speak for their home inspections, it seems like they do a great job.

Shea was a great home inspector. He arrived early to the inspection despite 8" of snow and having to go through Eisenhower tunnel on a Sunday. He took longer than his quoted time doing a thorough job during which he caught several outstanding issues of major importance and minor maintenance items to plan for. In addition he was courteous and informative throughout the inspection and had the report submitted within hours. If I don't go with this condo I will use Two Moose Home Inspections on any inspections I may need in the future and highly recommend them to anyone in Summit or surrounding areas that they cover.
