Eric did a great job in explaining the equipment needed for completion of the project. We have an appointment a week from now for completing the work.
Update 7/11/24: The work was completed as of today. Eric and Marcus did a fantastic job in completing the project! I don't say this often, but I wouldn't hesitate in asking for their help again. Please pass on my sincere thanks to these two staff members!

AJ was fantastic! From start to finish, he was very communicative and gave us thorough details with each step of the way. I really appreciate his honesty and professionalism. Thank you also to Mr. Sparky for getting AJ scheduled within two hours of the call to come to the house. Highly recommended!

Eric was so helpful!!! I was very stressed about my electrical issues since I am a new homeowner and he was very helpful in explaining things and helping me understand how to keep my house safe!!! The price was also very reasonable! Quick response time, quick service time!! I am looking forward to using Eric and this company for my future planned electrical updates and fixes in my home!

Brandon from Mr Sparky inspected my home's entire electrical system. He is very knowledgeable. He explained everything and answered all my questions in a way that I could easily understand. He also explained the company's values and honesty policy.
There are a lot of problems with our electric system, but even though I was unable to commit to doing any work immediately, Brandon was totally kind and respectful, and didn't try to scare me and tell me the house was going to burn down. Which I appreciate very much.
I highly recommend Brandon and Mr Sparky. A great company with excellent employees!

Cheesy name, great company! TLDR: able to get me scheduled quickly, up front/ clear/fair/ on demand pricing, Knowledgeable electrician, on time and even early, efficient, friendly service. Will use again!
This review is long overdue.
We hired Mr. Sparky to complete several projects over a span of two days (install ceiling fans, recessed lighting, outlets, switches, some requiring attic access and cutting drywall across the ceiling). AJ Hendrickson came out the next day for a quote and was able to get us scheduled for the next week. We may have been able to be scheduled sooner, but our project would take two days and we wanted it to be done at the same time. AJ was knowledgeable about the work being done, explained the process clearly so we could understand but without demeaning us, and was able to give pricing at that time via his tablet. I like that we were able to have two scenarios created, based on our budget. AJ was friendly and patient with my many questions and ideas. He spent an hour on our quote alone. The pricing was comparable to other quotes and work we’ve had done. Communication from the company and AJ were great. I always received a text message before and after each appointment, letting me know that AJ was on his way and asking how the appointment went. AJ asked if he could arrive a little early on the first day, which was great! He also remembered my specific requests to prioritize work based on my baby’s nap schedule and was flexible when that changed (no sense working in her room while she’s sleeping!) He was patient and accommodating when I changed the plan on him again (“ can we add a dimmer switch instead?”) He was kind and interactive with my 13 month old. He didn’t complain about being in a second story attic on a 90 degree day. He was also thoughtful about letting me know things like that he would have earplugs in while sawing through the wall and may not hear me if I tried to talk to him. His work was quick and clean and thorough. He was very clear with what we should expect when he needed to cut through the ceiling for our recessed lighting- he gave alternatives and we chose to continue with the cutting. The cut was as clean as possible. He also explained things like how dimmer switches are actually adjustable with how dim they can get! If we need electric work done again, Mr. Sparky will be my go-to, and I would request AJ who has set a high bar for other technicians.
