The Moving with Care team were great in helping our move be quick and easy. They were friendly and efficient and I felt that pricing was fair. I feel like some moving companies charge outrageous prices for their services but this team was spot on with what I was looking to pay. Highly recommend them.
This is the second time I've been fortunate to use Moving with care, and I love giving this family my money they're always so generous and helpful and I'm so grateful that I can trust them and support an awesome company like this

Use caution booking this mover. I booked on May 7 for a May 29 move and paid the $400 deposit right away to hold the date. In the following weeks leading up to the move I had received strange text messages from them that clearly weren’t even meant for me and also they had asked over and over again to confirm the date and addresses for the move. Should have been red flags on lack of organization but I chose to still support small local businesses sticking with them. On the morning of the move after already being a half hour late they finally acknowledged they would be late and postponed a few additional hours because they triple booked the day and then postponed again finally asking to reschedule for the following morning, May 30. Offering a 15% discount. I didn’t have many options but to stick with them and postpone my move by a day. The following morning no one showed up and no one answered my calls or text messages. Leaving me high and dry I called around to find another moving company in pinch and luckily I found Gentle Johns Moving and Storage. They came through and save the day for me after Moving With Care had failed me. They also have since refused to refund the $400 deposit or offer any reason of why they never showed up or responded. Moving is stressful and worrying about when or if the moving company will ever show up shouldn’t be one of those stresses.

UPDATE: their response to this review is insane. Divorce?? I was never married, never cancelled. They’re trying to cover their mistake.
This is our second time using this company and we would not recommend them. First time in September 2023 wasn’t totally professional but the guys were nice so we tried to use them again. Alex is the boss and does the communications including the $50 deposit. Not sure who we talked to this time as they blamed HER for overbooking their day. We were schedule for 12pm yesterday, but they texted saying they were late because they couldn’t find a crew or a truck to help so they were behind schedule. Then they said they would borrow a friend’s truck and we would be done before 4pm which we had a showing of the townhouse.
We were understanding until 3:30pm came around and they have either blocked us or just ignored us. We called multiple times from both phones and went to voicemail. Texts went unanswered. We never heard from them again.
Highly would NOT recommend this company to anyone moving. We are so lucky we have extra time to move or they would’ve completely screwed us over! What a way to run your business.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY ?
They helped us move into a townhome a year ago and were wonderful, so we decided to use their services again for our move this week. Sent our deposit and confirmed our time for noon. Day of, I get a text one hour before pickup stating crew is running late and will be there either 12:50 or 1:10. We were fine with it because the slight delay gave us more time to tidy up the house. I then get another text asking if we can rent a u-haul for them since the crew is running behind. We declined and not long after I got a call from Alex’s wife stating a crew has been dispatched and is on their way, so we assumed all was back on track.
1:10 rolls around and no contact from anyone, so I sent a text to check in and ask for ETA. We were then told that crew will now be there at 2 and admitted to overbooking. They then stated they’d borrow a friend’s truck to help with the move and after that, radio silence. We waited THREE HOURS after our scheduled time, then called them twice and had the calls ignored. Sent texts, which were also ignored. Eventually, I had someone else attempt to call them and the phone went straight to voicemail. They quite literally took our deposit money and ran! I will absolutely be disputing all charges with my bank.

Every step of the way they provided good communication. The pricing was very fair. The guys showed up on time and did exactly what I needed. They were very careful with my furniture. I let Dominique know when I booked that I needed guys who had excellent spatial relation skills as the furniture they were moving is large and the corners in my house are tight. The guys (Jesse and Arthur) were great at their job, respectful, and could lift really heavy things. I will gladly book again.

Alex and his team were amazing, twice. I moved out of an apartment into a storage unit and then about 2 months later into an another apartment. They kept me informed when they were going to arrive and were careful with my belongings.
I highly recommend them and will use them again.
