KNOWING what you’re buying is the most important part of the entire home buying process and no one does a better job at informing and educating you about the homes condition and functionality better than Tom at Allied Home Inspections. Unfortunately, we had to use Tom twice since our first home had too many red flags for us to move forward. Instead of being disappointed (which we were), we were so thrilled that we weren’t stuck with a house that we would regret for 30 years. Tom goes above and beyond and thoroughly inspects, documents and explains every single detail of the house in person as well as in his detailed report. The report also allows us to track every repair that needs to be completed that we would’ve probably forgotten about or looked over in due time.

Highly recommended – Tom was extremely detail oriented, communicative and did a superior job! Tom had two modes, he was very efficient in his inspection and he has a really great and welcoming air as he explains what's going on during the inspection. He walked me through both what he was seeing and what was not there and then he put it into perspective, akin to "newer homes have XYZ and it's mostly for comfort / convenience and doesn't really affect energy efficiency." As a first time home-buyer I had a ton of questions and Tom took them in stride and patiently answered every one of them. He gave us a lot of confidence in knowing the home which is saying a ton because I'm kind of a vigilant type of person. We did buy the home and having been in it now for some time we have not had a single inconsistency with his inspection! Thank you, Tom! Highly recommended!

Tom was incredibly helpful. This was our first time home inspection on first time home and he was the best! He was very detailed and thorough and helped us feel reassured. Tom inspected a home for us back in November. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, honest and caring towards his clients. He was very thorough, didn't rush, and kept us well informed during the inspection. Tom turned around a detailed home inspection report, the same day, with photos, descriptions and level of concern. Tom was fantastic. Very straightforward and available to answer any and all questions you might have. Particularly as a first time home buyer, Tom was able to make the process much less stressful and more informative than stories I have heard from others. I have used his services for multiple inspections. Always the consummate professional, Tom was able to identify issues that needed to be addressed in both the short and long terms.
