Technician was good, cleared the clog well and quickly.
Felt wildly expensive though ($358 for residential toilet snaking) and they asked me to sign a blanket indemnification before beginning work. Will never use Roto Rooter again, for those reasons.
Our tech, Miguel, was awesome. The service is definitely pricey, but we were in a bind. Miguel stepped up and at least made us feel like it was worth it.

Expensive!!! But didn’t have a choice, I mean I only have one bathroom which means one toilet that was clogged. Of course it had to happen on a Sunday at 4pm and had to be cleared and in working order pronto. They don’t give you a price over the phone, not even a range of pricing, they said the technician will need to assess the situation and then give you a price afterwards, and if you don’t want the service they will simply leave with no charge. I asked for a senior discount (I’m in my 60’s and just retired) which they happily gave to me, $100 off. Wow, excited it was so much, but also worrisome of how much the actual snaking of the toilet will cost. Although I was given a four hour window the guy came out within an hour, very nice and sociable. We looked at all my pipes in the basement, most are new or have been updated, it was determined that only the toilet needed to be snaked, he got his snake tool and was in there for 5 minutes and presto…cleared clogged pipe….YAY!! Cost for this 5 minute job was $358, but with my Senior Discount of $100, I paid $258. Grateful for the discount, but man that’s expensive for a 5 minute job. But again, couldn’t have been at the worse time, on a Sunday at 4pm and only one bathroom in the house. So why 5 stars? Because situation was handled/cleared/fixed and the guy was super nice. Not sure how others who have an emergency like mine, and who don’t have a credit card or extra cash would be able to afford such a high cost. They kind of have you between a rock and a hard place.

Arrived on time as promised. Jon was great and quickly resolved our issue. He kept everything clean and explained as he went. Would definitely recommend!

Issue was resolved successfully and very quickly, but thought the price to do so was very high. This is a common plumbing issue that was resolved in 20 or so minutes and should not be $641. Happy that my problem was fixed, but not happy with price.

We had a picnic at our house with lots of people, by the end of the night we found our main drain had clogged and was backing up into our basement. We called a company we had a contract with and they could not come for two days. Roto-Rooter was able to come the next morning (on a holiday) and fix the issue. One gentleman for clearing the drain and another to send a camera through. Both were professional and courteous. The price was higher than we would have liked, but you get what you pay for.

I'd give them one star for coming out to the property quickly, but the rest of the work was subpar and I was charged a ridiculous amount. Everyone I encountered I had to make a payment to. When they came the next day to assess the situation they had me pump the septic which I did. They then told me my line outside was collapsed and it would cost $6,000 to fix. I recommended that they snake the pipe from the outside they refused. They called me non-stop to replace the whole pipe. I got a local guy, to get a second opinion, who came out and snaked from the outside he find a small plastic container was causing the blockage. Needless to say what would've cost me $6,000 didn't even cost me $1,000.

I must say I had a very nice polite young man come out to fix my plumbing issue. He made me feel comfortable with him in my home. He took the time to show me everything that was done and it took a lot of stress away just knowing he was working hard to fix the problem I will recommend rotor rooter to anyone having plumbing problems 5 Star.

Franklin was amazing. He resolved the drain issues and also gave great preventative action to take. Great service. Even more amazing that he came out in a snow storm and did all this! Fantastic service. I’ve used them before and will continue to use as needed.. hopefully not much!
