Just started with Cats Eye after a horrific experience with a national franchise company starting with a T, they robbed me blind. So far, I’ve found the initial visit done by Brian informative and honest. Cameron, The tech assigned to my home, was thorough, super knowledgeable and reassuring. When I call the office someone actually answers! usually Jess, within a minute or two MAX! Super pleased so far and I’ll be sure to follow up as we make progress.

The technicians are nice, but trying to get one out to the house is not worth the time. The first time you call, they come right out - I think it was within a day or two - and they sign you up for the monthly program (monthly payments, bi-monthly visits). Once you are locked into that, you will be lucky if your bi-monthly visits happen as scheduled. And trying to get them out in between visits (to handle urgent issues, for example) is literally impossible. Very bad experience.

Although the staff is friendly I have to rate them a 2 star for effectiveness. I have their signature catgaurd with warranty. Unfortunately it doesn't help eliminate our mice problem. I have to call every 2 months to have someone come out to check on the catgaurd and set up traps inside house. I didn't want to have to write this but it's been almost 3yrs now since becoming a member. If I would have known I would have went with someone else. Hopefully this helps someone.

They charged me $650 to handle a supposed mouse problem. What has this $650 paid for? I’m glad you asked. I have had two visits since signing the contract in April. Techs placed less than five UNBAITED 99 cent traps in the basement, three in the garage, and four in the attic. This may shock you but they have not caught any mice. Techs have come TWICE since April to “inspect the traps.” Now, I’m not a pest control expert, but even I know that $650 is a massive, ridiculous rip off. I suppose the lesson in all of this is that I’m an idiot and hopefully you’re less stupid than me. Do not, under any circumstances, pay them to help with mice. The level of effort they put into it is so absurdly, hilariously, ridiculously small that I have to laugh for fear of crying.

I was also charged $750 for mole removal. Want to guess if the moles are still thriving? Of course they are!! So for anyone counting that is $1400 down the drain. An actual tragedy. I’m embarrassed that I trusted this company.

Finally, the monthly service has done absolutely nothing to cut down on the carpenter ants currently moving into my house, swarming my deck, and building a mansion in my yard. I mentioned the ants to my last tech and he said “we don’t really handle that kind of thing” which, of course, begs the question “what precisely CAN your company do well?” Because it isn’t killing mice, killing moles, killing ants, or eradicating pests. I guess what they do well is lie to customers and, essentially, steal money from idiots like myself.

To be honest, I wasn’t even going to leave a bad review. I was just going to quietly quit and/or die of the humiliation of setting a huge chunk of money on fire but Catseye keeps texting me to ask for a review. So here ya go.

Had Catseye out to install their cat shield lower half for my home. Eric was the technician that installed the seals around the home. He walked me around the property and showed what he was going to do. He did a great job and worked very hard. Marvin is the technician that has done the inside work laying traps and going through the crawl space. Both really informative and helpful.
Great company to have to seal up a home from rodents.

We spent $13,000 on this company to get rid of a mouse problem in the house. We were told results are guaranteed. Three months later, we have mice again. If they’re able to produce the results they promised, I’ll update the review and give the appropriate number of stars.
Updating the review. They have been on top of the issue. Came back and have attempted to fix the problem. We’ll see how it goes. In general, we’ve been happy with them so far.
