I have been treated terribly from this company. I hired Butler for a rock delivery. I received nothing but terrible customer service and experienced terrible mistreatment. They delivered the wrong product and instead of correcting their mistake, they tried to place the blame on us as customers. When trying to fix the issue and come up with a solution the receptionist yelled at my father on the phone. They repeatedly lied, and has no intentions of fixing their mistake. Due to the issue we have to shell out more money for the crew and for new product. They are praying on their customers and are only concerned with the money that goes into their pockets. I would advise everyone to not use this company. If I could give a negative star rating I would.

Nice ppl at the scale house but there process gravel sucks if your trying to get good compaction because they don't crush there materials, they only screen it so theres mostly round stones...(crushed stone locks in much tighter)

So slick. They have a great system for weighing, skillful dump truck drivers, and a cashier with a smile. Butlers is a jewel of the area

While I understand that fuel prices are high, there is no excuse for a 26% "surcharge" for delivering locally in Portland. The surcharge is not mentioned when you call and ask for prices. I STRONGLY suggest that you call a couple other places for pricing before deciding to use this company. In my case its cheaper to use a company 30 miles away.

I called to inquire about my gravel driveway (which is a new venture for me) and somebody came out within a couple of days. They provided all of the necessary information for future planning and maintenance, including helpful tips for diverting water when it comes time for grading. Looking forward to getting a truckload from them in the fall!
