When we called for crane services they asked if we needed a spreader bar which we weren’t sure but they said they recommended it because if you don’t use it you could snap one of the trusses and it would cost even more to fix it so we said yes to the spreader bar which was an extra $200. The crane operator that came was great and did a very good job but he didn’t use the spreader bar. He didn’t even set it up. When we called the company they said even though we didn’t use it we still had to pay for it because it was on site. The crane operator said if we had taken the time to set up the spreader bar we wouldn’t have finished in time so it was a good thing we didn’t use it. They should have disclosed that the crane operator might not use it and if they didn’t use it we would still have to pay. Just to let you all know, our longest truss was 42’ and he did it without a spreader bar so if they recommend it to you for trusses that size or smaller don’t get it.

This company responded to any emergency on a Sunday in North Adams, MA. They helped save a church steeple from collapsing and stayed on the job for days until it was done. Couldn't have asked for a better job.

Do not use these guys. They had us pay for 8 hours before coming out then left after 3 hours without doing what we asked. We called the main office and they said they would talk to the operator and after that call the operator left without talking to the supervisor. We later called the office to talk to the owner or head of operations to get some answers. They said someone would call us and nobody ever called. These guys are bad news. DO NOT USE
