I phoned Mather to ask if they cut Corian because I needed to replace an over-the-oven microwave and thought the Corian back splash had to be trimmed. Tom offered to visit to see the project. I emailed pictures instead. He talked me though how to do mount the support bracket on the Corian and even gave me the name of an installer who had worked for him previously and would be less expensive than his crew, if I needed an installer. When I removed the old microwave and took measurements, I realized I could mount the new microwave in the same space as the old. No need to mount on the Corian. Nevertheless, I applaud Tom's willingness to share helpful advice, knowing he might not be getting the job. I wouldn't hesitate to hire him should the need arise. He's a decent businessman!

My experience with Mather was nothing but great. Tom Mather was very helpful with all aspects of what I needed for installing the countertop, from selecting the kind of countertop to finding the right-sized sink. He always answered my questions whenever I stopped by, called, or emailed him. His lead installer, Jim, was also wonderful, and whenever he was in the office or answered the phone he was also helpful when answering my questions and making suggestions. On the day of the installation he came with 2 other young men, and they were all very professional and did a perfect job in a very short time. I also thought the cost was extremely reasonable. If you are thinking about having new countertops installed in your home I would definitely recommend Mather Countertops.

Worked with Tom on custom Corian countertops for my tiny house build. Tom was more than happy to talk through the many options and details with me and to share his honest opinions (without being pushy). I'm picky and indecisive, but he never gave me a hard time about it. After I submitted my final order with my own drawings I was a little bit worried it would be difficult for them to get all the details right, but Tom and the team came through 100% and gave me exactly what I asked for. Thanks for your attention to detail!

Highly recommend Tom and the team at Mather counter tops! First, I like using a local business - secondly I have heard horror stories from the big box stores (Lowes/Home Depot) Just as an example, I went to Lowes to price out their counter top and was told the next available time I could meet with someone to discuss options was a week out. Not a great first impression or indication that they want my business. When that day came - they called me that morning to cancel!
Compare that with my interactions with Tom and his team and it is night and day! They were responsive to all my questions, easy to reach, showed up on time, the price was what they quoted - which BTW was only $50 more than my Home Depot quote!
$50 is a small price to pay for a QUALITY hastle free experience ANY day!
They did a great job and I would recommend them for any counter top needs!

I highly recommend Tom and his crew for their excellent work. I wish I could directly give them more business myself, but as the focus of my construction work has changed over the years, all I can do is continue to refer people to them for their products and services. So, with that said, I will give this glowing review. They have a quality local, family owned business that can accommodate all types of countertops and cabinetry options, and they take great pride in their work. They have always been prompt, accurate and courteous while estimating, measuring and installing for my clients, and they offer several different material options to make your project both customizable and affordable. It has always been a pleasure working with them.
