I have utilized Collins Elevator Service for the past 4 years to handle the maintenance and the repair of the elevators in a DC Government building that I manage and the experience has been amazing. They are very responsive, professional and don't overcharge for their services. I will definitely continue to use them at any future buildings I manage. They are a God-send!

We tried calling to get a quote on installing a new elevator phone. Someone from their answering service picked up and we explained what we needed and never heard back from anyone. I tried calling again a week later, and the woman who answered the phone immediately became irate and said I was just wasting her time and was probably trying to get a second bid to price shop. I have no idea how she came to that conclusion because we had literally been on the phone for 45 seconds at this point. I explained that we were actually looking to transfer our maintenance contract as well and she literally said to call another company and stop wasting her time. What the heck??
