We are very happy we used At Home Designs. The store showed us many options for shades that we were unaware of. Then, Marge came to our home and made helpful suggestions for fabrics and colors. Installation was perfect and fast. A small repair was needed soon after, but service was fantastic. Excellent all around. So glad we chose this company.
As a repeat customer, I would highly recommend At Home Designs. They were patient in helping me choose my window treatments, which were just what I wanted. Margie and Nathan were professional and friendly. The whole experience was a pleasure. Installation went well, and now my home is looking updated and lovely. Thanks AHD!

Nathan and Mary Ann provide exceptional service. Nathan is quite skilled in his craft; he made recommendations for a window treatment to beautify a basement suite window as well as to shut out daylight for sleeping guests. Nathan also repaired a faulty previously purchased Hunter Douglas blind in another area of our home. I can't say enough about this business, their responsiveness, their talent and service provision. At Home Designs has helped me choose beautiful blinds and shades for every window in my home. The selection of products was extensive and I was provided with superb advice as I made my selections. I can't say enough about how professional and thoughtful the installation crew is--they noticed a minor imperfection that had escaped my notice and ordered a replacement blind immediately. One of my favorite local businesses in Delaware!

I was very happy with the service provided to me by Nathan from AtHome Designs!! He was very knowledgeable about window treatments, very efficient, detail oriented and most of all, very courteous and customer centric. I was also impressed with Nathan’s people skills. He went above and beyond to help fix our vertiglide issues which we bought from Avalon located on Concord Pike. We had issues with the strings that held the vertiglides. It became loose and therefore made it difficult for us to open and close them.
I initially called Avalon to report the issues in September of 2022. The customer service people I spoke with in their office lacked the customer service skills to help their clients. They failed to call me back when they promised to. After two to three months of calling and emailing their customer service, I was told that I had to pay $250.00 just to have someone come to the house to determine the issue. They also told me that I had to pay to get it fixed and that there was a possibility that the installer will need to take the vertiglides down to send back to Hunter Douglas for the fix. The follow up calls and emails with Avalon ‘s customer service was a hassle and nerve racking!
When the installer from Avalon came to the house on 12/29th and quickly looked at our vertiglides he said that he will be on vacation and will be back on 1/18th. He will call me for another appointment to come to our house to see if he will need to send the vertiglides to Hunter Douglas for the repair.
I called ATHome Designs to fix another window treatment. Nathan came and quickly fixed it. I showed Nathan the Vertiglides and the issues with them. It took him 5 minutes, if that, to determine the problem and fixed it. Nathan did not even charge me for fixing them.
I highly recommend ATHome Designs for your window treatment needs. You will be extremely satisfied and happy with their quality service, efficiency, and superior customer service anytime you need them. Avoid Avalon!
