Michael and Matthew Purnell of Oak Construction Company built a wonderful house for us in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. During the design phase we worked with Mike Purnell and Erik, our architect, to bring Asian influences to the creative design of our new home all the while incorporating elements of the classic Rehoboth beach cottage that we replaced. Next, Matt Purnell was a master of the building phase. Matt is a detail-oriented person, and he made certain that work progressed continuously with no time gaps. Oak hired excellent sub-contractors and vendors. Of importance to us was the fact that Oak Construction kept a clean job site that had minimal impact upon our neighbors. Oak set and met deadlines, a particular challenge given our community’s strict regulations for workday hours and no weekend work. They remained within the budget we had allotted. There is no skimping on quality with Oak Construction—our house is extremely well built and we love it. Building a quality house seems to be part of the culture at Oak Construction. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Oak Construction to anyone who was contemplating building or renovating a home.

Matt and the full team fully renovated my beach house in Rehoboth beach this past summer. They were a true turnkey construction company! From design services to clean up! They did a fantastic job!! And all of this was being completed while I was back in my home in Newtown Square. Matt at Oak is professional and trustworthy! Highly recommend this team!
