We used this company in May and in June of this year. The first move went well. The lead mover had a little bit of an attitude but my husband's chatting and early tip for all the guys brightened him right up. Most of the guys did have a great attitude. The furniture was wrapped well. The second move was excellent. The lead mover was Gabe and he is the reason it was excellent. He made sure all the guys did what they needed to do properly. The reason we cannot give five stars is because of a small dent on the dining room table. The table must have been placed on it's side. Several blankets should have been placed on the ground to prevent this. Other than that, we would still recommend this company.

The entire process was smooth, efficient and professional. Everything from initial contact, just to interview them as a potential mover for us, to final delivery, which was a positive experience. The pack and load crew was extremely careful in wrapping and padding our furniture as well as taking great pains to avoid doing any damage to walls, doorways, etc. at both houses. Remarkably nothing was damaged or broken. The crew was cordial, respectful, and helpful. We recommend them and will use them again if the occassion merits.

Cannot say enough good things about black tie moving. They were on time, efficient, kind and professional. I couldn't believe how quick they were, and with not a single scratch on any item (or my walls)! They were also soooooo sweet and patient with my 3 year old who wanted to ask 1000000 questions. They even let him "help" them move a few things! I would absolutely recommend black tie moving. Worth every single penny!

Black Tie Movers are a wonderful company to work with. They called me and we went over my list of furniture that needed to be moved room by room. I paid the $250 fee to secure my spot. The night before they called me just to go over everything again just to make sure they had it correct. Today was my move, the driver Chris called me just to confirm the address and give me their arrival time. Once they arrived they introduced themselves and they went right to work. It took about 3 1/2 hours to load the truck. They took extreme great care of my mirrored furniture. They wrapped my dressers so nothing would scratch or scrape. We were meeting another truck that was coming from my boyfriend’s house which had a piano and a grandfather clock and other things. They worked together at emptying the trucks. I bought them pizza because they didn’t even take a break. Great teamwork, polite and respectful of my property. They even rolled out a red carpet so they wouldn’t scuff up my flooring. I would totally recommend Black Tie Movers anytime!
