Our garage door failed on a Friday afternoon. The company that installed the door 6 years ago could not offer a tech to diagnose the problem until 4 weeks in the future, even after we explained the garage was the primary way for my handicapped husband to enter and exit the house. We called Delaware Express and explained the situation. The owner of the company was here the next day, Saturday, to diagnose the problem. Four days later, Delaware Express returned to repair the door. It now purrs like a kitten. Thank you, Dana, for your rapid repair of our garage door.

From beginning to end, this process was seamless and smooth. The upgraded equipment works well and the installer did a great job explaining everything to me including the new app. I highly recommend this company for your replacement door openers or new installation.

Great service by Josh. The torsion spring on our door broke and they were out the next day to look and fix. Great service and obviously knew what they were doing. Recommend then to anyone who needs help with their garage door, especially in a pinch!

The technician Joshua was very professional and went above beyond by additionally taking the time to show me where to properly lubricate the rollers and springs and went ahead and did this at no additional charge to me. I will definitely refer this company to my friends if they ever need a garage door replacement or repair

DEGDS originally repaired our door in December 2021. Last week (April 2024) the door would no longer open (spring failed) and they came out and made an emergency repair and ordered the correct spring and finished the repair this week - all under warranty. What I really appreciated was whomever came out did a great job of communicating their schedule/status so I didn't have to wait for hours to be ready for their arrival.

Edit: 1 star to 0 stars - Vendor's account has been hacked. I'm now getting spam email from their business account and my credit card has multiple fraudulent transactions on it. My bank has cancelled my credit card. Stay Away!!!
Edit: 2 stars to 1 star - Vendor overcharged an additional $428 outside of all issues described below and has failed to refund me.

I used this vendor to install new garage door rails and openers to an older garage with original wooden doors. They were the only shop in town that was willing to do this, due to the additional weight of wood doors.
After only a few weeks of use, the rail and supports failed on the right door. This was due to an installation error as told to me by their own tech who came out to diagnose. Essentially, neither point of contact for the rails was evaluated to support the weight. One side used lag bolts instead of anchoring into the stone underneath - mounting the whole weight on wood trim instead. The other side attached to pieces of scrap wood extending out of my drywall that were not properly anchored.
All of this would not have mattered had they done the repair under warranty. Both the service tech and Jim, the owner, said clearly that this would be a warranty repair. Jim later said it would be 1 hour of labor. When I asked if they would be applying their fix for the right door also to the left door, this became two hours of labor. Additional parts were also added to the bill.
So, in the end, I have a functional garage door. Everything works as expected as of today. However, I would not do business with this company again due to the lack of integrity by the management and lack of due diligence by the workers that created the original issue.
