Be careful - totally scammed on AC repair. Have worked with many refrigeration repair companies over 35 years in the restaurant industry. Had a freon leak was quoted for 12 lbs of freon if it could not be recaptured and re-used. Repair was done charged for the freon. Then called because the tech said they were able to reuse the freon so I should get a credit for the freon right? No, was told that capturing the freon and putting it back in costs more than using new freon. Wow, thought I heard it all. I have had this come up with restaurant refrigeration repair many times and never heard that one. Total scam. Well I guess I have a new project by making sure everybody I come across knows not to call this company.
The service is quick and not bad, I guess. My pan was full of water. I usually clean out the pan and the tube. I was too tired today, so I called them. The fee for the same service was $188 last year. Today 6/21 I paid $368, and I said holy s___!. I got ripped off. I should have waited for the other company, it would have been $200!

Our A/C stopped working last night. Called Florida Heat and Air first thing this morning. Chase came out and did such an awesome job. Had the unit back operating within a couple of hours. Explained everything he was doing and NEVER tried to upsell anything. Great experience for me. I'll always recommend them!

One of your vans just went about 55mph down my street - toward the culdesac (it's not even a passthrough street). I have little children. Tell your drivers that is absolutely not safe. I will never use a company that I see driving through a neighborhood like that. Sorrento Ct in the Cape, 4/11/24 8:15am.

Be Careful with this company!!! Scammed on “ service call “ More like unprofessional , unaware of their employees lack of knowledge ,
SALES call. Came out to look at my AC unit and proceeded to tell me since the model was old and compressor was BLOWN I would need to replace EVERYTHING. Quotes around 6,000-7,000
Got it repaired for less than 700 bucks and with a more knowledgeable company!!!!!
Had NOTHING to do with my AC unit ! It was a leak in my FREON pipe ! Repairs and up and running in a few hours !!!!
I STILL have a warranty on my unit as well but apparently didn’t check anything and just “ assumed “ I needed to spend 7,000 …. Charged 119.00 for this BS knowledge!

We have been very pleased with the service we have received from Florida Heat and Air. Labor Day our A/C unit was running but not cooling. I called the 24 hr emergency line and the technician, Raphael was on site within an hour. We had a bad capacitor which was replaced promptly. Raphael did a great job and was very professional.

Donnie and Matt worked on our AC unit and did an extremely fantastic job. They were punctual, knowledgeable, respectful and easy to speak with. They listened to our concerns and answered our many questions. We are thankful for the job that was done. We really appreciate the work that they did.

Matt did the service on my house a few weeks ago. Always calls with ETA and knows what going on with our system. Always friendly and personable.
Donnie did the service at my mom in laws house this week. Prompt and very knowledgeable. Got her system cleaned and her on a service contract.

Donnie Berry arrived at our home this morning to fix our air conditioner. He was terrific! He called 30 minutes before he arrived to let us know he was on the way. He was very nice and completely the job in a very timely manner. We will definitely call on Florida Heat & Air if we need them again!
