We were exceedingly pleased with our experience with Smart Stone.
The initial process of scheduling and having measurements done was very easy.
The install was done very professionally. The installers showed great care in having everything cut precisely and finished the job in a timely manner. What was even more impressive is that they were very attentive to trying to clean up after themselves even to the point of using a leaf blower to clear dust off our sidewalk!
You don't often find service like this anymore. It was a breath of fresh air.
The BEST!! Would highly highly recommend Smart Stone. I worked with Rob on my kitchen remodel and they were able to do it so fast!! We were in quite the crunch as we had just had new cabinets installed but no countertops and they were able to get them installed quick!! They were by far the fastest company as they were able to do it from picking the counters to install in less than a week! They were even able to accommodate the sink I wanted. Their prices were great and very reasonable compared to other companies I reached out to. They even had an appointment for a plumber to come out same day to setup the dishwasher and sink. Would definitely hire them again if I had another project I needed countertops for.

Rob, the owner, personally installed my countertops with his crew ~2 years ago and did an amazing job. I called him this week for a followup service and he was able to fit me in within a couple days and resolve the matter timely and professionally. I would recommend this company for your countertop needs—you will not be disappointed with his exceptional customer service and skills!

I used Smart Stone for my home - they did an incredible job working with the sink I HAD to have. That was about 5 years ago and countertops are still perfect. Recommended them to a friend who used their onsite hardware and it came out beautiful. I'm getting ready to use them again for a client's house - because these folks are just fantastic. Everything from the first meeting to picking out what works for the space to install. They are great!

Have had Smart Stone install countertops in two homes and have been pleased with the results and the price. In the most recent installation, however, there was less attention paid to the final finishing: grit was left on the surfaces before the sealant was applied, and that application was spotty and uneven. We are searching to buy sealant to better finish the job ourselves.

Rob Martin is very arrogant and rude. He gave me a quote of $600 for three small sills for my bathroom remodel. I asked him to give me the breakdown and it infuriated him. He insulted me on the phone and the demanded me to take his check to him for previous work. I went to Ultimate Granite in Ocala and the same three pieces was $260. Beware of this guy. My friend is a decorator in town. She won’t be send him anymore business.

Smart stone is without a doubt The best knowledgeable granite company in town. No need to shop around they did a superior job, rob and the installers are top-notch professionals they answered all of my questions they cleaned up very nicely after the fact and my kitchen looks like a million bucks and the price he charged me for this was more than fair I shopped around town and I can tell you you won’t find a more quality knowledgeable company to help protect your investment than smart stone.

Exceeded our expectations! Rob is a great combination of easy going and consummate professional. He rolled with whatever changes I needed to make. His staff was always friendly whenever we visited the store and did an amazing job on the installation. I highly recommend these guys!

Called Smart Stone because it was small, local, and had good reviews and was not disappointed. Fast, professional service and I love my new quartz countertops and undermount sink! Smart Stone's product was over $1000 less than the quote I got from Jackson Stoneworks and I chose a premium color for the same price as a standard color. The installation was perfect, everything is flat and well-fitted. I Rob handled a few special requests for the design with ease.
The big difference in price is mainly because the counters are pre-cut from a thin slab, then the edges are built up so they are double the thickness. Other companies may custom-cut countertops out of one thick, continuous piece of stone. For some people, that may be a better option, however, I prefer having countertops that are lightweight but still extremely strong. Less material also means less waste.

Rob did a great job with the quartz top that I ordered through him for my new kitchen. He was quick, timely, and efficient; it took about a week for him to put an order and install the top. The crew was professional, meticulous, and courteous during and even after installation. My cabinets were uneven and crooked here and there but the workers were able to make appropriate adjustments. Highly endorse his professional work ethics and craftsmanship!
