Mike and his team were fantastic to work with and delivered on all promises. We had some setbacks with the weather, but his team did everything they could (including staying late) to hit the deadlines before our moving day. Rob and Orlando were a pleasure to work with and made sure that we were satisfied every step of the way! Very happy with the quality of their work and the way our new home turned out. Would definitely suggest calling MAV Paint Contractors for your next project!

My special district hired MAV for a paint job involving two outdoor, metal car gates. The job was done well and according to our agreements. When the job was complete, I noticed a small section that was not painted but that had not explicitly been part of our original agreement. After I contacted them, MAV came out within a few days and did the added section without any more charge. Nice work!

We wanted the full exterior of our home painted. MAV was one of very few paint contractors that was suggested by a friend because of their experience & quality of work. I cannot begin to explain how happy we are after choosing MAV. From start to finish the MAV team communicated great, scheduling was on time but most importantly their work speaks for itself. We had Fernando from their team & he did an AMAZING JOB!!!! He is a rockstar! MAV Painting 5/5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank you so much - MAV team - Mike, Mia & Fernando! The project included quite a bit of creativity and quite a bit of math.
Always professional and respectful to my home. Not one thing needed to be dusted or swept after they left. Can’t Wait for my next project. OUTSTANDING

Mike the owner is a salesman, MAV is priced very high but he will tell you because MAV does high quality work which is not true. They were many days nobody from MAV showed up to do the work, Mike's wife which works at MAV - told my wife four painters will start to come to work on the house moving forward but only one painter would show up on many days. Mike had one of his painter's paint a wall next to the main stairs of my home. The MAV painter never covered the stairs and handrails with a drop cloth nor plastic.. MAV Painting assured they will cover the area where they paint with drop cloth or plastic which was not true. MAV painting ended up ruining my stairs and handrail by getting paint spatter all over the stairs and handrail which the pictures below clearly shows MAV ruined the stairs. Mike told me he was going to fix the stairs and handrails but what MAV Painting did was applied the new paint on top of all the spattered paint without sanding down first the stairs, handrail and not prepping properly. Now you can see all the spattered paint underneath the new paint Mav Painting applied. It looks AWFUL.
Second, MAV Painting breached/broke the contract which clearly reads he will be using urethane paint for the stairs and handrails. Urethane paint is more resilient and holds better for painting stairs and handrails, Mike applied a NON-Urethane paint stairs and handrail which broke the contract because it clearly reads urethane paint to be applied. Urethane takes longer to dry according to one of MAV painter's. This would cause MAV more visits and pull his painters off from other jobs. Mike told me one time when he gets a call from a commercial account he puts them on priority over residential because he can't afford to lose a commercial account which he makes more money on than a residential job which Mav did with my house which delayed moving into the home with my family. We would have days passed with nobody showing up and days with only one person showing up. It took him about 7 weeks to do poor quality work - it was a waste of time and money.
In addition, he got paint on my new neoprene home gym floor. He tried to avoid painting the ceilings in the first floor main area and dining room thinking I was not paying attention. I noticed he painted the walls and not the ceiling so I asked one of his painters how come the ceiling were not painted he said it was not a part of the job. I told painters and told Mike it was in the contract so Mike realized I was paying attention with MAV cutting corners by not doing the work. MAV ended up painting the ceilings written on the contract. Also, MAV was supposed to drywall/touch up holes in guest bathrooms which were written in the contract and MAV did not do the work. He painted my kitchen cabinets and noticed cracks on my doors and dent on the wood which he said he would fill in and sand the cabinet and doors but never did. When I addressed these issues with him at the end he was very upset and took one of my kitchen cabinet doors and put it inside his truck. Mike stated that he will not give the door back and not leaving until he has a check from us. My wife was very uncomfortable and nervous with him inside our home with our daughter so we wrote a check so we can get the door back. I told him I want him to make the repairs and he said he would. He never came back and never responded to the email showing what needed to be fixed from MAV Painting work and from the contract. Now, the paint is chipping off the cabinet doors because they did not properly prepped with the sanding and priming the cabinets and one of the cabinet door came apart less than 3 weeks after MAV worked on the cabinets. My wife and I had to hire a lawyer because he did not take responsibility for the damages and the poor quality work in my home and breaking the contract. It has been stressful and a headache dealing with the whole experience with MAV Painters. We wished we shopped around more for a painting company and read more negative reviews on MAV Painters.
