Working with John and Mike have been an amazing experience. Always on time, very courteous and very patient. They understood the type of design I was looking for and made it a breeze to pick the right plants. John even took me to pick my tree. They went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with the design.
I do have to thank them for their patience with me. I will work with John and Mike for all my next projects!!!!! The Best in Citrus County!!!!
I called John and in a few days he was out looking over my property. He gave me some ideas of what he wanted to do and after discussing with my wife. He began the work. He understood we wanted to do more later and he was very excited to get us started. He added a fish pond and a walkway for us. Both are exceptional. I was expecting something basic and they went all out. John is a true artist and Mike is a Master at his profession. They both were easy to work with and helped us get a better ideas what we could do in the future. Also my dog Oliver loved them. So that helped.

We had a 22’x28’ stone patio and retaining wall installed along with 15 privacy bushes and there Sylvester palms. The team did a fantastic, meticulous, expertly executed job. John gave perfect guidance from understanding what our goals were and devised a plan. The entire team’s (Mike, Wade and Patrick) specialties is how the job pulled through with great success. John’s guidance on which planting to choose and had access to for our soil, temperatures etc. was perfect. Will hiring them again with future projects.

We started with a concept – to build a privacy barrier in our front yard. John and his crew came over and immediately saw the vision and developed a design. Once the guys began the project, we requested some modifications and within minutes, John was on the phone calling for the plants that he wanted to fill that request. To sum it up, this landscaping project and the team are nothing short of AMAZING. The final design is a work of art!

We hired John and company to undertake a major re-landscaping project in our yard and couldn’t,t be more pleased with the result. Everyone was professional, creative and hard working. I would definitely recommend Florida First Landscape and Design.

Great job by John and his crew. I had a small job on an addition to a drive way. John came out priced the job and fit me in to his busy schedule. His crew was outstanding and John was there majority of the time. I could not be happier. Tremendous experience at a time that most aren’t. Can’t go wrong here. Thanks guys I appreciate it.

John and his awesome crew were an absolute pleasure to work with! We would certainly not hesitate to recommend them to friends or call them again when we do additional landscaping!
We have a little yard on our newly purchased vacation home and although we love our new little house, the yard was horrible and had seen many, many years of neglect. We started with some very unsightly, overgrown shrubs, and some random, neglected bushes in front of our house. John came by in a very timely manner after I first called him and listened to what we wanted and made very inciteful suggestions. John is extremely knowledgeable about plants and knew which ones would be best for low maintenance while still providing a much needed update to the curb appeal of our yard.
We then set up a date that worked with our back and forth travel schedule to have all of the work done. John and his guys showed up when they said they would and completely transformed the front yard of our little house. HIs crew is professional, knowledgeable and hard working. They happily answered my many questions.

Bret and his crew just finished a landscape project in the front and back yard of our new home. My husband and I couldn’t be more delighted. We felt this project was a great collaboration . Bret listened to what We wanted, made excellent suggestions and worked within our budget. The result was outstanding! We couldn’t be more pleased. We don’t easily give five star reviews unless We think it’s really deserved and Florida First Landscape and Design deserves five stars. We’re happy we hired Florida First and look forward to working with them again for our next project.

My yard was just upgraded my Florida First and their were exceptional crew, with John and Bret supervising the job. My yard has a fresh new look and the lighting is outstanding. My pride and joy is the beautiful paved walkway leading to our bird baths and birdfeeders. I asked John to provide a walkway large enough to permit walkers and wheelchairs to move comfortably to the back yard. He made a special effort to contact the Americans with Disabilities Act to determine the width required. The crew, Mark, Mike, and Brian, where are most accommodating And polite. They worked steadily in the heat and cleaned up everything before they left. They listen to my needs and provided ample access to get to the birdbath and feeders. Florida First did a wonderful job and I recommend them highly.
