Love all the variety of items here. Very beautiful pieces. There is so much to choose from and to get ideas. The sales people are helpful and friendly. I returned today to purchase more materials and I was helped by one of the Design pro.. I think his name is Tiago..super polite, friendly and professional. He helped us pick out our Tile last visit and again today. He is amazing.
I had an excellent experience with John at Floor & Decor of Lakeland. His customer service was outstanding - he was extremely knowledgeable and helpful throughout my visit. He guided me through the store, answered all my questions with expertise, and ensured I found exactly what I needed. This is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had in any store let alone a floor & decor. I shop at floor & decors all over Central Florida but this Lakeland store will never get my business again after how I was treated today by Samuel “the lying” manager and Sandra “rude” Harold the store manager. Not sure how either of them have positions that requires them to do deal with people because neither of them know what customer service means!

Customers/Contractors Beware:
Inspect your purchase before you buy!! We had purchased about $4,000 worth of tile(Ashford classic porcelain 10x60” in soft ash am color and bundled 3 per box). Half of the cardboard boxes were destroyed from weather(tile was fine). An entire pallet was this way and made it EXTREMELY difficult to offload by hand. The cardboard got drenched and fell apart upon lifting. Not sure who to blame. Whether it be the store(Floor and Decor out of Lakeland, FL) or Ashford. If we had known the pallet was in this condition, we would not have accepted it(pallet in blue plastic). We would recommend this store for their product knowledge and assistance. But, we would not recommend this store for loading a product of this expense in this condition. See pics for reference.

Saturday morning I showed up to pick up an order I placed on Friday and it wasn’t ready, it was a big issue for me since my tile crew was waiting for materials to arrive.
5 stars for Jeremy who was the store manager at the moment, him and his team started working on my order immediately he was personally helping pack and load materials. That guy is a great asset for the company!

Wow! What an awesome experience at the Lakeland store today Emily Martel (Designer) helped me select the grout and various other materials to complete my project and I have to say I’m blown away by her quick and professional service. She has excellent taste and she worked alongside my wife on a FaceTime call and picked everything we needed. Thank you so much for your help today Emily ??

We have been to Floor and Decor in Lakeland Fl at least once every day for the past two weeks. EVERY employee we encountered was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. It is a pleasure to be at this store. Two employees are EXTREMELY friendly and pleasant. Brandy and Tom make you feel like family. They are joys to deal with. While all employees are great, Brandy and Tom are exceptional employees. They are true assets to your store. They deserve "kudos" Please let them know they are appreciated by your customers.

Update: After posting my review, I was contacted by some Floor & Decor “Care to Share” social media customer service. I was requested to send my review and information even though there was no name attached to the email. I sent everything along with receipts in the hopes someone would do something. I was told someone would be contacting me from my store and that the person who wrote that email would be following up (even though I had no idea who wrote the email). I received an email today saying that the customer service person who emailed me was very happy that I received $8.01 refund of and item that was another wrong item sold to me and that should I need anything further, blah, blah, blah. Honestly, another waste of my time and my bad, as I should have known dealing with this store or its employees would be a total waste of time as proved to be. They never addressed the problem. Took another star away due to wasting my time. Shop there only if you know exactly what you need, and don’t have to bother with their employees.
Original review: If you don’t have full knowledge if the project you are doing along with everything you need, then do not ask the staff at this store because they do not know. We had our bathroom remodeled in 2017 with tile, and picked up all of the products we need per the contractor. We asked for sealed grout. We apparently didn’t know at the time that the Mei Pei grout they sold was not sealed and their sales people told us it was. Move forward 2 years and my grout turned black from mold. The contractor looked at it and said that the grout was not sealed and would have to be removed and replaced. Cost me an additional $500 to replace the grout with a sealed silicone. Oh and we went back to the store to get the silicone and the contractor spoke to the sales person to tell him exactly what we needed. Yet again, sales person sold us the wrong item. Management takes no responsibility. Better off going to Lowes or Home Depot! I gave 3 stars because they do have beautiful tile.

Pros: Lots of associates on the floor available to help. Even clearance items were in stock in the store. There is a loading area right at the front of the store for loading your car or unloading returns. Cons: Orlando and Lakeland locations are both far out.
