Recently my girlfriend and I bought a home and since I have always had a good experience with BB I told her to call them to replace the locks. The quote was good and she booked them. When the driver got there and put the lock on he said she needed a handle and told her that it would be another $60 she agreed. When she received the bill it was more than double the original quote. At that point she should have removed it but decided to take the higher road. When she spoke to the office and was told she was talking to the "owner" it was explained that it was her fault for not asking the right questions. This is by definition predatory and a sad way to do business. I will make sure everyone I know uses anyone but these thieves.

I called to request a new lock for a new house. I was quoted the price of the lock and scheduled an appointment. No additional information was provided on charges until the day of the appointment after the fact. Once the lock was installed I was told I owed an additional $400, a $130 service call and a $100 per hour install fee. When I called and asked about the discrepancy I was told I only asked about the cost of the lock and should have known to ask the other charges. I do not recommend this company and have also complained to the BBB.

I needed a new door lock for my condo. Spoke to Jeff in Bonita Springs and he told me the service call would be $129 plus $275 for the lock and $100 an hour for the labor. When I called the next day to place the order, it said suddenly. the service call would be $240. Since I had to fly to Europe a day later and urgently needed a new lock, I accepted. I saw the door lock that was sold to me for $275 at Home Depot for $149. The mechanic came and everything was done within 10 minutes. I had already removed the old lock. The bill: $607.55. Please find a reputable locksmith!!!
