I made a special trip just to have Florida Home and Kitchen design my new kitchen. I wasn't always easy to get a hold of and I appreciate the persistence from the company to keep me on track for my deadline. I had several thing's I wanted to change then ended up changing them back to the original plan. It was effortless getting things accomplished and I didn't feel like a burden when I had any questions. absolutely love this company and would highly recommend to any home owner trying to upgrade their space!

FH and Kitchen completely re-did my kitchen, floors, and fireplace starting in July 2021 -May 2022. Rob was extremely nice and Monica literally fell from heaven. When I first spoke with Rob, he had a great vision for my kitchen. And the design is great. He is very personable and I had no issues with him personally. But, he didn't oversee much of the job. In fact, I didn't see him look anything over in my year long project until the end when we came to do damage control on the problems that I had been managing. The 3 month projected project took close to a year. It was tiring and tedious. My floors I picked were changed without me knowing due a supply chain issue. I took a second choice, but I wasn't even aware or told it was changed until I was shown the floors that would be installed in my house. My countertops originally came with a large defect and I had to fight to fix that. The shelves I picked for a custom built-in were not accounted for in the price, although I signed a contract that included them in the design and spoke to the designer and the crew about them. I was told I would have to pay more because of an "oversight" that was no fault of my own. When my floors were replaced, they had to replace my quarter round along the baseboards. They did not even staple it. I had to call numerous times to have them come back to do it (they only fixed part of it each time), only to have them do it by rubbing their shoes against it and hence leaving black scuff marks on every single one, which I then painted. My floors were not leveled prior to installing my LVP. I was told they didn't need to it, although I offered to pay for any leveler needed MULTIPLE TIMES. After installation, I was shushed by Bob, the then foreman, that it "wasn't that big of a deal." Apparently, Brian, the man who installed the floor, had a terrible attitude and refused to help fix or redo his mess. He did not even show up to the drill and fill fix. When I asked Brian about all the issues on the floor, the patronized me and told me "I didn't understand what a floating floor was." I am talking about dips that made my furniture uneven and popped up when walked on. I tried over and over to get them replaced. They did take a short cut and drill and filled with foam after Rob came and was shocked by their installation - it looks like I have cigarette burns on my floor. And I had to fight to get that fixed. My floors, to this day ,are buckling up in places and have huge gaps. I had to call about about unfinished grout, wrong sized shelving, crooked drawer installation, etc. Promises they would be fixed and only some were. This past May, I was told they would redo my floors WITH THE SAME GUY YOU DID IT THE FIRST TIME. Why? He didn't even want to do it the first time. So a year later, I am expected to move back out of my house, find a place for all my furniture, and repack up everything and put a halt to my life for floors that could have been fixed if the foreman/contractor had been overseeing them in the first place. I asked if the company would be willing to pay for a POD for my stuff since I had already found a place for my furniture for a YEAR for the initial remodel. Silence. So I essentially would be out time and money for their awful mistake for a floor color I didn't originally pick. At this point, I will wait and just pay someone else. I understand at this time the company was struggling with employees and such, but it took a year to do a small kitchen and it felt like I was the project manager. I live in a 1900 sq. foot house with four kids that I homeschool. We aren't rich. We saved for 10 years to pay for this job in cash. 10 years. This was a big deal and a once in a lifetime thing for us. I had to live at my mother's home during the remodel. It was stressful and awful. Monica dealt with me on a daily basis and I probably cried on the phone to her a thousand times. Her kindness really helped and she is the saving grace to this company.

I purchased a bathroom cabinet and countertop from Fl Home and Kitchen. There were many options to choose but Liz helped me to narrow down exactly what I was looking for. The installation team (Miguel and Steven) were fantastic and came back when the countertop was installed to make sure everything went smoothly. I absolutely love my cabinet and countertop!! And because I am so happy, I am considering having my master bath renovated in the near future. I have nothing but good things to say about this company from the owner, Mr. Kiser, Liz and Monica…. to the installation team. Everyone is professional and patient and is much appreciated.

Had a visit from this place.. they looked at my master bath, had us come to the store and pick out everything we wanted. Seemed like they were going to do it for us and we were ready to pay. Waited for a quote. Called 2 weeks later, they said they were about to start on it. 2 more weeks, called them back and they said it was on the designers desk. Called back 2 weeks later they said i should get an estimate soon. 2 weeks later and nothing. Its been months with not even a phone call. Unfortunate because i stopped shopping around for other people to do it. So i had to go months with a torn up bathroom with 0 progress.

We had a rough idea of what we wanted to move in our layout and some components I wanted to do myself. Not only did Rob treat us with respect, some can be iffy when you want to do some of your own work, it he brought unique suggestions and input that were just invaluable. Herringbone floor for example, changed the entire look of the remodel!
