Pro Tech Plumbing & Air Conditioning has serviced our TRANE multi-zoned AC system for 18 years. They have an excellent professional team that has kept our HVAC home system cool in the summer and warm in the winter. As an extra touch, they sent me a jar of Honey from a local farmer. That’s the kind of personal care they have provided to us. Michael Spoon, our technician, has 40 years experience and has done an excellent job for us. Thanks Mike and thanks Pro Tech!
My overall experience with the dispatchers and the obvious lack of communication between branches of the company was a 1 star. The second tech to be sent out (Luis) was amazing! His knowledge and service were worth every penny, however to get a qualified tech out to service you should not take 6 calls. On my 3rd and 4th calls I requested a manager to call me. I have yet to hear from them. . .

Nick Garcia was exceptional!! We were given a window of 8-10 and he was at our door at 8!!! He is always well-mannered, honest and efficient at his job. We had to have a new unit installed a year ago and Nick has made sure it is always operating above standards!

Michael did an outstanding job on our A/C maintenance. He was detailed, kind and professional.
Once again another outstanding job by Pro Tech Air Conditioning and Plumbing. So glad we have their ‘Comfort Club” Maintenance.
Jaythan was on time, professional and friendly. We are always impressed with the through job Pro Tech does with their maintenance program.
Jaythan provided pictures and details in the email he provided once the service was completed.

We have been Pro-Tech customers for years and they always provide exceptional service. Nick Garcia in particular, has serviced our units multiple times. It was nice to see his face again today when he came to do our routine maintenance. As usual, he was very professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. We appreciate Nick as he is obviously a huge asset to the company. He represents Pro-tech excellently!

My technician was prompt, thorough and professional. He called and had a Water Mitigation Technician at my home almost immediately. The repair to my hot water heater was done quickly and I was able to keep the defective parts for insurance claim. I highly recommend ProTechAirConditioningPlumbingService.

Shout out to Cesar, Eric and the staff at Pro-Tech AC and Plumbing. As a Vet, quality customer service and doing your job well is very important me. I could tell right away when Cesar came out to assess the problem I was having with my unit that he knew his job well and at first I was hoping he would be the one returning to replace my evaporator coil. However, I was as equally impressed with Eric doing an awesome job for me. I believe as customer all we want people to do is their job well when they come to our homes. I hope, as a company, you guys continue to build on the quality service you demonstrated to me from the front desk to the field. Thank you!

The photos speak for themselves honestly, but here we go.
I hired Pro-Tech to install an HVAC package unit on my house this summer after a 15-year old 3.5-ton Lennox one finally gave out. I paid over $13,000 to have a 3-ton Daikin one installed in its place. No ducts were replaced.
1. Pro-tech damaged the side of my house (and the new unit) while swapping out the units by wedging it between the house and the hedge. I would have been happy to trim the hedge to clear the path, but I was given no heads up that I would need to do so. I honestly can't fully blame the install team for this. Pro-tech management should have made it clear what would be needed for this to be avoided.
2. The seals to the unit broke within a week, and the unit struggled to cool the house down from day one. I do not think they were attached correctly. They appeared to just be smothered in Mastic sealant.
3. The dog-house that was installed was too large for the unit and had huge gaps along the side between the unit and the house. Pro-tech kept saying they would send someone out to fix the installation and but an appointment was never made.
4. Getting in contact with a manager through their customer service line was impossible. "We'll have a manager reach out." "The salesman will call you soon." I never got a reply in either situation and had to call the general manager directly.
5. Pro-tech didn't try pulling a permit until two days after the installation, and in doing so they sent the email to the wrong email address. I had to call the Orange County permitting office and ask if one had been pulled. It had not been pulled. I then had to speak with customer service again to see what was going on.
Eventually I spoke with Lorenzo, the general manager, directly over the phone. His initial offer for making it right was fixing the install the next morning. I said I'm not paying $13k for this installation even if it is fixed. He offered another year on the warranty, which I said no to. He finally offered a $2,500 partial refund, which I also said no to after speaking with my father who worked in construction for 30+ years.
I am a very patient person. I gave Pro-tech so many opportunities to hear me out to make things right because I didn't want to be writing this review, in the end Lorenzo said I was being "unreasonable". I tried explaining to Lorenzo that I have had to be the one managing their installation process as the customer. Calling to make sure things get fixed. Calling to ensure the permits are actually pulled. Taking PTO from my own work, canceling my own meetings at work, staying in a hotel, etc.
In the end we could not reach an agreement and I asked for a complete and total refund of the system because I had zero confidence in Pro-tech's ability to make this right and I felt disrespected as a customer.
The one positive is the help I received from the two maintenance technicians, Victor and Ray. Both were friendly and genuinely tried to help me in the situation.

Had my annual check up maintenance for my ac unit. A few weeks later I come out to my garage with the ceiling leaking from the air handler leaking water out of the inlet duct. The float switch was left elevated by the tech and the unit was not sufficiently cleaned that the unit did not turn off as it should when clogged. Instead there is severe water damage to my ceiling with pro tech denying responsibility and refusing to fix the damage from the leak which was a direct result of the float switch not being reset properly by the tech. Will not ever be using them again
